Titans Challenge

Hello,

I was looking at opening some more TC's but I've been having such bad luck. I went to visit some players pages who've won to see if the fragments they needed to get Balios could give me any idea on how likely it is to get to level 7.
On my search, one player had won over 30 Balios ... I'm sure they opened it many times and must have gotten lucky?
Or, is there a slight strategy to know when it is/isn't going to reach higher levels?

Any insight into this is appreciated as I've only gotten to level 3 and no further with the few that I've opened.
I understand luck item means luck, but all the luck items I've purchased recently (Hop, Fleece, Tyches crown) have only given me minimal items and very basic ones, and it's putting me off slightly! I must have extreme bad luck!

Thank you!

Also, this is not the first time that Bailos has been released. For many of the players you were looking at, it is possible that they already had one or several before this weekend.

This one player in particular had them all won on today's date and it was the nebular balios... I did notice a lot of divines such as Saffron and other special divine was from today's date too ... so I'm wondering if this player has a lot of passes due to purchasing heaps with real $ which would make a lot of sense why there are a lot of balios and they must have opened so many.
I was considering asking this player, but felt it was slightly intrusive to ask.

It would be very interesting to see how exactly the luck is determined.
For example, the cards on ascent to olympus ... I have saved up a few to play one after the other. Sometimes i'll have horrible cards and i do not get very far, the very next turn I'll have amazing high quality cards and either get to the end, or come very, very close!

If the stats are determined at time of purchasing that could also makes sense. Has howrse ever released any information on how these are determined?

Either way, I'm concluding that it is a bit of a gamble and that there are really no indicators to determine the outcome.
The TC is so tempting to just keep wanting to push through the levels.

Thank you for your responses.

I'm going to lock up now as I don't want to turn this into a discussion etc.
I dug deeper into the matter as it was bothering me, and with some rough calculations, this player has spent upwards of $7000 in real life money ... so that explains a lot.
And it also puts my mind to rest over the insane luck I thought they were having, thinking maybe they had a strategy.
Thanks heaps for your answers, appreciated greatly.
Happy Holidays!
