It was fun and pretty but kinda boring tbh but I liked my rewards

I do not like these contests. It feels mostly chance if you proceed since you have no say in what card you get. I didn't get past the third section because I kept getting cards that were not useful to me.

It was boring imo. I didn't go for the main prize but I still didn't get what I wanted. I was one card short and didn't get the bonus pack. The cards you get are entirely up to chance. At the end, I had 14 of one type and about 7 of the one I needed 8 of. I feel like there should be a way to exchange cards of one type into another, for a fee of like 10.000eq per card maybe, up to three times a day or so.

There was very little to do each day. It required pretty much no strategizing, and was just down to dumb luck.
Also didn't like that you couldn't complete the entire event without paying. I got the main prize, but there were several smaller ones I didn't get. Telling us we're able to restart once we collect all prizes is kind of pointless if it's not possible to collect all prizes without buying cards.

The randomness of the cards while trying to get to new stages sucks. Actually finishing an event should be doable without having to buy anything. Now, I did finish but there was a point where I wasn't sure because I was getting everything BUT the type or card I needed to progress. I could easily see how someone could get rotten luck and not get what they need to advance. Also: the 'prize' cards are completely pointless and only serve to give you fewer chances at getting what you need

This one is quite boring since you get maybe one click per day, which makes progression feel quite slow. But the slow progression was a bit nice to have after the high pace of Crazy Friday sales and the last event.

I got lucky with the cards I received, and did manage to get nearly all of the prizes on the boards. I just don't really want or need the coat items that were prizes because I've collected them already.

In all, this is one of those events where the event and prizes on their own are not necessarily the issue. They just don't suit my play style.

Totally agree about the exchange cards. I also thougth about it when I end up with cards from one type that I didn't need

I didn´t even bother with this event, it was super boring and there weren´t any rewards that interested me.
But I sure am happy we got another hiking journal, yay! We definitely needed more of those instead of actually useful items

It was a bit boring, some days there was no gift collection due to not having enough of the correct cards. Some of the prizes didn't interest me as I have them already or I had a mass load of one type and nothing to use them on. Mostly completed but slow going and too may left over useless cards

default smiley :ddefault smiley :dI was happy with my prizes and made good use of my cards. My complaint is that I did not get to use my last hand of cards because I had one reward day left and was hoping to get enough cards for tychs crown. I did get both new forest ponies and have my first foal from them! (Thanks to aging points) I did get all journals but not sure what horses to put them on. I also got a wandering horse background. I haven't used that one yet. I am unhappy that I just lost my last hand of cards and didn't get to use them. Can we at least get some equus for each unused card in thevgame? Not a huge amount but something symbolic, like 500 es for each card? That way one card gives usable amount of es without going crazy on it. Also, I did enjoy the gifts I got and appreciate that ow gave me my last gift. Thank you for these events! Keep them coming, just make them a little bit easier, please. Otherwise it's just discouraging for some ppl as I have read on here. Especially for ppl who can't afford to buy passes. I have played games based solely on watching ads to get items or game currency. I have also played to get items and currency. I went overboard on one game as it was too easy to spend a lot of money a dollar or two at a time and I had to quit those to save money! I am trying to maintain a balance on Howrse. Ppl who will spend money on extras will still spend money on extras even if ppl who don't spend money on extras get those extras a bit easier. Your game has literally thousands of items and coats and backgrounds to spend rl money on and I doubt it will make much difference to your sales if you make free game play a little easier..ppl who can spend rl money for passes will always do so. Hint: offer some items for a 99 cents on your sales page could really increase your sales. Check out Candy crush to see how they structure their sales and you will see why I went overboard. I spent over 500 dollars a month for a couple months last spring and the only way zi could play at my level was by spending rl money so I quit that game. So be careful. It is a balance for your gamers to keep their rl budgets and still enjoy the game. I also got the get 1000 passes coupon and another for a few hundred passes coupon
I liked those but didn't like that I had to spend 14.99 for the same price on both prizes. I had planned on buying with the thousand pass coupon but it hasn't come up again. default smiley :(

Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with Howrse. Aside from a few problems with my account and the learning on mobile is harder, I'm figuring it out. Also, there are a lot of great rewards for completing tasks. Ty!

I my ideas help and that an actual person reads my long post. I am aware that with the number of posts you probably get, it's likely a huge job keeping up. I also apologize if I broke any rules in my post. Still learning. I thought it was essential to tell you the name of the game that I spent the most rl money on so some one at howrse could see what I mean about the lower rl money costing items really costing me a lot rl money in the long run. It might be something to think about at howrse to make buying passes easier for ppl on a tight budget. Big spenders will always be big spenders. But penny pinchers might let loose some pennies if you make it attractive enough.

I like this event. You have the option to go whichever way you like. It would be nice to exchange cards on the last day just to use them up, I had a few that I only needed one more card for the prize. Exchange as in, I has 2 forest and need 1 mountain, so pay some equus or something to conver the forest to a mountain. But only be able to do that the last day using what cards you have in hand. Very happy with what I recieved for prizes. Love the art, winter theme is typically a favorite of mine regardless!

I liked lbenedict15's idea of being able to purchase/exchange some cards on the last day so I could have received one more bmi. I, too, lacked one card on a couple to receive a gift. default smiley :( Otherwise, I enjoyed the game and received a lot of nice items for my Store. Winter theme was lovely! default smiley (l)

This is entirely "luck" as to whether you draw the cards you need but other than that, there's literally nothing else to do but wait another day. Even buying cards is a gamble and no guarantee you'll get the cards you need so not quite sure how this could possibly be anything but pure luck as there's no skill that I could find that would enable one to do better?

I couldn't finish one of the levels as I needed two more cards and without a guarantee I'd rather just use the exchange for a timer rather than spend 200 passes or more. I couldn't have used the leftovers anyway.

I thought the prizes from the draw cards were awful... a total waste. At least make them worth points instead and let us choose from among the worthless prizes.

I'm not a fan of events that are impossible to complete without buying extra cards.

I agree with the sentiment that gift cards were pointless. Oh gee, 50 droppings again!! Boy oh boy am I glad I got 5 of those instead of cards that would help me progress towards a BMI!

Disappointing and boring event. Please make it possible to benefit fully from events without spending passes.

Side note: I don't think it's very nice to make it so collecting all the available Cinderella fragments brings players so close to getting her without actually making it possible without TC. Bringing the number up so high without the possibility of actually receiving her baits players into using up their crowns.

I found it annoying that you couldn't get everything without buying more cards with passes. Same with Cinderella, annoying that you get close enough with fragments but still would have to buy TC although some players do not have the passes for that.

Not a fan of this one. The gift cards made it almost impossible to get cards you needed so I didn't bother buying any to try and complete each level. I barely got one move a day and came no where near finishing.

Yay for new horses!

Also, finally got the Emperor companion, and managed to get the new Hiking Journal item.
I don't remember what else I got, but it was okay.

Boring and only prizes available were piddly. And progression was very puzzling. At the end I had 10 blue cards and a path to a prize that required 9 cards but I couldn't use that path and I don't know why. It looked like I had a path there to me but I still couldn't use it. Nor could I find any instructions on how to progress.
