HellOw everyone!

During Crazy Friday, running from November 22 to 25, we will be offering divine horses at a bargain price for the whole weekend!

There will be three different types of sales:

Reserved sales: Every eight hours, check out a new batch of horses in the Reserved sales tab. These horses will be available to you during this time only, with a limit of one purchase per horse, but you will have the possibility to buy one of each horse offered.

Direct sales: Different horses will appear throughout the day, but only one of each will be available. The fastest wins the sale! (Limited to one purchase every twelve hours)

Auctions: Place the highest bid in Equus to win the divine horse of your dreams! (Limited to one purchase every twelve hours)

All Crazy Friday sales will be accessible from a separate dedicated hub, to prevent any confusion with other sales happening at the same time.

⚠️ The full program of the sales will be shared when the sales begin.

Remember, the divines that are available in the sales are chosen randomly and the VIP auto-purchase perk will not be available during these special sales.

Cinnamon fragments

With every purchase made during Crazy Friday, you'll earn points that will help fill up a loyalty meter. Reach the different levels to get fragments of the divine horse Cinnamon.

I have enough for one more and debating on which I should try and go for. I'm eyeing "I love you" or thinking about something else. So far I've got Rose Gold, Main Coon and Boreas. This is the first Crazy Friday I've taken part in after a long hiatus from the game so I'm just glad to get a few since I was not prepared at all

i HATE when the bid that's reasonable goes from like 5m to 25m. these auctions are ridiculous

Hiram Farmer, I understand what you mean, but even when the bids are more incrementally reasonable, they'll still reach an insane number. I've seen people bid up by hundreds rather than thousands, but even then, it's ended well above 15k equus. No matter how you bid, it's going to go up.

Some players on here have hundreds of millions of equus to spend; 25 million isn't much to them. Others save up all year just for this and are willing to pay everything they have. I did see a few cheaper ones last night (like 10 mil I think? Can't remember the number) but that was because it was late and barely anyone was on.

i just don't get how people bid. how do people not realize bids early don't EVERY make it to the end. why would you waste 99% of your money on a bid that has no CHANCE of winning. litterally no chance. i've checked the bidders money. they literally bid more than 99% of their equus on a horse that's not even close to finishing. what is the point of that?

There's no need to continue the discussion of early bidding. People just have different viewpoints. If players want to do that, that is their choice. And some players keep a lot of equus "banked" in items. There's no way to truly know how much someone is able to invest in an auction.

Speaking from experience, I was not prepared for the sales this year, and that's on no one else but me. I'll gladly drop 60million on a divine if it means not spending 8k-16k passes for it via the luck items!

I know plenty of players who save up all year and prep for these sales. Horses will sell for whatever players are willing to pay for them. For example, I only have 22million equus, which I know won't be enough for the Divine I want to get. I'm okay with it though because it's my fault for not being prepared. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the prices they are going for aren't crazy high, because they are, but players are willing to pay it so there's no problem with it.

My gameplan for next year is to prep for the black friday sales the entire year. Stockpile equus and passes. Will set a goal for 150million equus, and maybe 20k passes.

Not trying to be mean by any means so I'm sorry if it comes off that way. But realistically, horses will sell for whatever the players are willing to bid for them. There's always someone who will be outbid in the end default smiley :)

You get the money back if you lose the bid, so they aren't wasting all their money. It's a long shot, but I can kinda see the idea; maybe they aren't going to be online to battle it out at the end of the auction so they bid high and hope no one will challenge. Or they're attempting to "overprice" a desired horse to lower the odds of a bidding war. Or maybe they're just new to the auctions, but there's lot of different strategies and not everyone's goal is to get the horse as cheaply as possible.

To be frank, it just saves a lot of time.
I always wait until the 30 second mark, but let's be realistic. For example, Scandium is at 11.3M around 7 minutes before it goes off. It is going to get to 30+ million anyway, so why waste all the extra time? Bidding around 25 mil just sets the tone in a way, and it isn't good or bad. The horse is 100% going to be expensive, and I doubt these people expect to win. If they bid around 30mil, it removes a lot of other bidders who weren't going to spend that much out of the picture. That way, when the 30 second bidding starts, it really only goes for 31-35 million or so.

It is good to remember that all auctions, generally, fall very close to each other. Whether someone bids early or not, 31-35 million was today's average for Scandium. No matter when somebody bids, that horse is going to go for about 31-35 million. While it doesn't serve any primary purpose, it doesn't harm anybody either.

Bidding an extra 1 equus on a divine doesn't really serve a purpose either. Nobody wants to bid 1 equus 100,000 times. They want the horse and they are willing to spend a lot of money for that horse. If a horse is going for 33 mil, bidding one equus changes nothing. It is going to go for 33 million or close to it regardless. It certainly doesn't harm anybody, but it does feel like a waste of time.

I know auctions can be frustrating, and I myself am incredibly prone to getting upset, but I do try to keep that frustration in the auctions. A little competition doesn't hurt anybody, and howrse really does have a great community. It would be a shame if that was ruined by bidding feuds of all things default smiley xd

Porthos sold for I think 12 million just now? I forget what but it wasn't anything too crazy high; the ones that I've seen going for lots are either things like Metals or it's just a LONG bidding war that goes on for ages.

Whenever I bid, I just tell myself "I won't buy this horse for more than x amount of equus", so I can bid 20 minutes before auction as well, if the price is cheap for now. Like, it's going to go up anyway, because everyone sets a goal and if they want to "buy this horse for maximum of 50 kk equus". No matter when or how much they bid, it won't change a thing if they have a goal in mind. Spend 10 kk or 50 kk, they're prepared to do this xd
Making a 100 equus bid insteaf of 100.000 equus bid will just stretch the auction for much longer than needed

I'm happy i was done with auctions when it was only the beginning of sales so I immediately bought one horse, and after 12 hours of waiting the other, they weren't as expensive as they are now
Got myself a really good deal both times

I wish ya luck!
I swear it's taking so much self-control (and may or may not have posted in a friend chat that I need to be yelled at and not buy passes because Christmas packs are coming up and I'm an adult and can't spend the moneyz right now), but yea, the sales are done for me. I doubt I'll make enough passes to get another Divine before Monday morning when this ends lol

I'm just going to get Gold maybe and then nothing else, maybe not even him if he's too pricey.

Either way I got Rose Gold and I never thought I'd have her, so I'm content. default smiley :)

Now just debating if I should go for the Christmas horse in reserves rn (I can’t remember his name) which I originally saved for or to see if any of the directs would be better. Ahhhh I can’t decide! I don’t have many options and the time limit is killin my decision paralysis lol

All of the love horses have been going for BANK in the auctions. Seem to be extremely popular. Good for them.

Christmas horses are decent. They pop some type of prize on the 25th every month and passes on the 25th of December (200p each I believe).

Love horses are perfect babies. They drop passes the 14th of every month and you don't have to take care of them (20p each I believe, and something extra for "valentines' day"). I have 8 of them and it's so nice to just wake up and log in to notifications of free passes that I don't have to run to get default smiley (lol)

I've gotten Rose Gold and Lips so far, which were two on my list so pretty happy with that and they were reserved sales so no dealing with nonsense lol. May try to grab someone else in the auctions depending on how prices look tonight, but will see - there weren't a ton this year that really caught my eye so happy with just a few!

HALLELUJAH The gods have blessed me, I just discovered that my mom sent me venmo money for something like, a year ago, so I have enough money to get the 3k pass pack now if I want to. Girl math logic, I didn’t find money, that’s just free passes… Debating if I should go for another one or two divines now. Any thoughts on Alice in Wonderland? I’m tempted just because I love the story so much so it makes sense for me to have her lol

I’m also wondering if more of the wind divines will be in direct sales, I’llhave to check, cause I’d love to get a few of those if I can, they didn’t seem all that expensive compared to the others when I was looking earlier today… hmmm, tempting…
