you could only get 8 fragments at a time for the divine with merges. With only 18 fragments per crown I didn't even attempt to get the divine. It would have cost me 6000 passes and then with the divine only giving a p pack it just didn't add up. I'm finally getting the gist of just how greedy this game can be at times. It's took a while but I finally realize that I can just wait for the special promotional pass packs for them. They are much cheaper that way. So overall I wasn't impressed at all.

They event did not work for me I have played similar events on this app but for some reason this one would not let me do anything so I was unable to participate at all which was disappointing.

I usually like the merge events because they are easy to do and don't take a lot of time or begging friends for help or using passes to complete. This version however was dreadful because the sharks were so hideous! I hated looking at them and normally I like the artwork for the merge events. And worst of all, these horrid things are now companions that I must acquire so I can keep my companions trophy! I will get them all eventually but I will put them on horses that I never work so I won't have to look at them every day. That being said, I did finish the event and got the fantasy shark which is somewhat cuter than the others but still weird looking. And I got some nice BMI's and fragments. And it was all free. Didn't cost me anything except time and having to stomach looking at the ugly things while merging them. I hope the devs will rethink adding other crossover companions especially if they are this fugly!

The event was fine, although I would have appreciated a bit more time. Not only in the lenght of days, but in the aspect of hours as well, because 4 o' clock is too early in my opinion. Some people finish work at that time or even later, therefore ending an event a few hours later could be a huge help for some of us. default smiley ;)

I got 11 ows rays

I have nothing to complain about

I don't like the design of the most of the sharks and wasn't going want to waste the whole event on one companion so I didn't bother with the main prize

these merge events are ok. Kind of boring because it is a lot of wait. This one kind of creeped me out, the sharks were, not cute? And the one cute white companion shark shown in the game wasn't even available, so I didn't even try default smiley (lol)

I liked the event I thought the graphics were nice bit as others have said it was so hard to progress I got x2 fantasy shraks but probaly spent 400 or so passes which is pretty unfair not sure why they made it so hard will take me a long time to collect them allas it sounds like not many people went for the sharks being how hard it was to get! I hope you do a weekend or day with them in horns of plenty or something so more are on the game!

These merge events are generally fine to play, but they tend to be very slow to progress through unless you’re willing to drop a ton of passes on them. This one was especially slow to progress through. I didn’t spend any passes on the event. I would’ve liked to see some different prizes available as well, I wasn’t thrilled with what was available. The visuals were high quality but kind of odd.

Excited to see what the next event is, hopefully we’ll all be able to progress through a bit better!

I was surprised when the contest ended today. Played exclusively on mobile and it never had an end date displayed.

I'm kind of disappointed in the graphics after the first three shark pictures; the other six looked really strange and I did not have fun looking at them to merge them on my boards. It's kind of annoying when everything takes at least three and a half hours to eight hours to get ONE shark picture to drag onto a 3x3 square board and I ended up spending maybe twenty minutes over the course of the entire event "playing" it in total, and I didn't even have fun; it wasn't even mind numbing.

Also, why have there be NINE evolutions of the sharks this time around? Whatever happened to the eight in the past merge events? Sure, the eight was a lot too, but at least it was far more manageable and it didn't feel *as* tedious.

I also play mobile on and off and it was on the banner on the homepage. ^^" As a general rule, it always ends a day before the crown, so you can otherwise find out the end day by looking at the date on the crown banner and subtracting a day.

I got Seven Seas coats and Harmony packs! I was super excited to have those two things be really easy to get. I really liked how varied the prizes were and that actually getting them was achievable.

It was fine for me. I like the games that allow me to choose my own prizes.

The graphics reminded me of a cartoon in the 90s.

Some prizes were okay, but to me some prizes were not worth the wait.

Actually people hate it didn't progress very quickly. So far all the games like that have an issue of taking so long to progress. Actually this one was better than the others and if you could be on and check it every two hours you could've moved along very well which I can't say the same for the events that when you ran out of moves you had to wait a whole day to move on. But it WOULD be better if it gave you more sharks to merge faster than two hours or if these events would last longer would be nice. But really? They weren't happy with philosophers stones to make their horses immortal? I think that's the best gift besides special horses and Hermes staffs that we could get in my eyes. And not happy with the wanderer item? I really loved that one even though the merhorses aren't my top favorites that is a wonderful item. Tho I would've preferred to be able to get wanderers more like the spider one or the ancient and wild devine horses. And I loved the little seahorse and jellyfish companion! But they are right on one thing it is not fair that the blue hungry shark horse and the white shark are way too impossible to get. I mean how do you even get the white shark?

Oh and unless I saw wrong that event went on longer than I thought. I thought it was ending on the 2nd of September and it's the 9th, and then a message said a few hours that ended up another day or two so actually this went on longer than I thought it would.

I was wondering why we could not buy the # 1 shark. Would have made getting divine easier.

I was so busy getting the top prize that I barely had enough time for other prizes. My final collection of prizes is therefore lackluster at best.

In other events once the game had finished you still had time to acquire items. I left my mergers to come back to when i finished work for the day, and imagine my disappoiintment when that feature did not exist for this event.

take it because it was the most basic shark?

It was better to be able to purchase the other two sharks to be in with any kind of chance to be able to reach the top prize. As you would have had to do shark one multiple times tome be able to get a couple of shark 2 ect

I mentioned this before, but this event really ought to cap with 8 level merges (for the grand prize) and level 9 should be removed. It was a wonderful event in its heyday when that was the case; players could get the new item and still have time to go back and get a few nice items, or multiple mid-level items, or lots of low-level items; whatever they wished.

Now in order to get the new item you need to forfeit everything else, which is not compelling to many people since it's just another companion collection, one of dozens already on the game. The sharks WERE cute and I actually liked a lot of the designs, but did I like them enough to give up Hera Packs, Harmony Packs, TCs, Wanderer's Spirits, and Timers? Definitely not.

I remember the first merge event I participated in (years ago) and managing to get 4-5 of the companion. Can't do that anymore. I had to spend 285 passes to get a 2nd companion with no other prizes. Howrse is not a free game by a long shot.
