[UPDATED] September Packs!
I won't go for any of those packs mainly because they're not worth the money you need to spend on them compared to the prices. The only fair one is the smallest, because you actually get 600 passes for 5,99. The rest is in my straight opinion are useless and not worth going for.
I hoped to see something quite interesting in these packs looking at the current situation in general in terms how hard some people have to work to sometimes put food on the table not even speaking about spending some amount of money on the game that they love to play it just doesn't feel right that you get a divine horse the price of 35 euros. 35 euros equals to about can we say 3,000 passes? So for 3,000 passes you can actually buy more divine horses than those in the packs offered or even win if you're a bit lucky or get the one that's good in terms of pass paying or the prize you can get from them. I think the game developers/creators forget the whole point of the packs. They're meant to be interesting for the players and be a limited time offer within which you can buy so called packs but they're meant to be lowered in price to the usual ones or I am wrong? Correct me if that's the case but I'm just quite confused here. (You may feel free to disregard/delete the previous message - I'm a bit tired whilst writing this). I apologise.

I like that Comet Pack.
|
i really really hope they make it possible this time around to hold on the Aphrodites Tears priviledge and the Fertility privilege, where you can wait to activate it as you choose. I think its silly that they activate it on the day you purchase.
i also agree with all of you that the prices/lack of items are absolutely ridiculous
|
The comet pack is likely the only one I'll consider getting because the alien divine is pretty neat and I do enjoy hestia's gift.
Overall though they could've at least offered more passes per pack. The comet pack being ~$39 USD and only coming with roughly $18 worth of passes is disappointing. That means a divine, two draft unis, and some BMI for $21. It isn't a terrible deal but it definitely doesn't feel like a great one. I'm sincerely hoping xmas packs are as worth it as everyone says they are because so far I'm not terribly impressed. Another note- I'd really like the option to be able to pick my own items. For instance, just buy one chimera and the alien divine for what they're worth and that's all. Rather than have to buy two different packs for more than they're worth, with stuff that I don't necessarily want/need? Just my opinion.

I personally don't mind them offering more of these packs throughout the year, running a site like this is not cheap when you consider that server space needs to be paid for, so do admins, coders, artists, etc. However, I do agree that the pricing needs some work to make people more tempted to buy them. I think I will just stick to the nebula, as I have plenty of tears and I don't really tear donkeys and drafts, so the wands will do.

Even when I wont privs in the challenge, it activated as soon as I got it.

I actually think they need to try and convince people to SH/heaven more horses. I imagine a lot of the server space goes to horses and accounts themselves. So finding a way to get more people to remove horses from their game (especially the ones who hoard hundreds of thousands of useless horses) would be a good way to clear the server space. Like say make the price of selling foals to the SH 3000/foal and not 500e. Make it comparable to actual in game prices. That would likely encourage more people to sell to the SH for some quick money instead of the actual horse sales. Or have the yggdrasil bonus more commonly and have him offer better prizes. Or even offer prizes for SH an amount of horses, or even make it a trophy?

I’ll just get a Nebula pack… If the Galaxy pack had more solar divines in it, then it would be worth the 155$

I feel it should have been a max of 1000 or 2000, that's still a challenge for the majority, but without causing people to just breed as soon as the mare turns 2 years 6 month. Trophies might actually be one of the ways to deal with the whole Safe Haven problem. If there was a trophy, like Yggdrasil, where you could send a certain amount every day to the Safe Haven to advance it, more people would likely be encouraged to send horses to the Safe Haven, especially if it just counts the amount sent, not their ages.

The comet pack is teasing me a bit, but not sure tho it's not a bad amount of passes for it.

I feel it should have been a max of 1000 or 2000, that's still a challenge for the majority, but without causing people to just breed as soon as the mare turns 2 years 6 month. forget about the trophy, the fact that there's a ranking for the player with the most horses? They need to remove it. What purpose does it serve? absolutely no purpose. You get no prize from it, no benefit from it, all you get is the option to brag that you're #1 in that spot. See with the breeders trophy at least you can SH all those foals and it still counts. But to keep #1st in the rank for most horses you need to keep buying horses, which means those players are literally wasting storage space just for that rank. And lets be honest here... nobody in game really needs more than 10k horses... The max you need for farming is 1k (really 800 will do the job just fine) then whatever projects you want, which for the average player isn't huge (maybe 1k horses max?), any drafts/donkeys/unis you'd need for the objectives/events, and your divines. I'm a pretty active player and I haven't bred that many horses, I'm 88% done with the 5k so far! and I have privs!

You get no prize from it, no benefit from it, all you get is the option to brag that you're #1 in that spot. I feel that the 10k horses are a bigger factor, as players breed a lot more and then those horses have to go somewhere. People that pick them up are just taking them off another players hand that likely wouldn't have Safe Havened them anyway. See with the breeders trophy at least you can SH all those foals and it still counts. But then you run back into the issue of buying or breeding at a loss. People hold on and then sell on because of the Safe Haven's low payout. It's not so much an issue of people buying and holding on to more than they need, the issue is that people are not going to send them to Safe Haven at a loss. A trophy for the Safe Haven or increasing the payout to more than the average would be a great first step towards freeing up space.
|
So when we buy a pack we get everything included or is it random chance?
|
You get everything included in that particular pack

I feel that the 10k horses are a bigger factor, as players breed a lot more and then those horses have to go somewhere. People that pick them up are just taking them off another players hand that likely wouldn't have Safe Havened them anyway. Well I mean if you think about it you don't technically *have* to breed for this trophy specifically. You can just go about your business playing and breeding horses of your own free will and in about a year or so (depending on how active you are) you're able to complete it no problem. I feel like every active player (especially on prix teams) can easily complete that trophy in a year or two. But to get #1 in the most horses owned you have to keep every horse you get A trophy for the Safe Haven or increasing the payout to more than the average would be a great first step towards freeing up space. I think it would be easy to encourage players to SH horses if they actually put in effort for it Here's some ideas off the top of my head 1. More events that use donating horses to Ow 2. A trophy for sending horses to the SH (Say it maxes at 10k like the breeding one) 3. Increase the chances of getting the "donate a horse to ow" objective 4. Add a system where you send a certain amount of horses to ow and you get points where you can gather up enough and spend them on bmi or buying small amounts of passes (like say each horse is 1 point and you need 200 points to get 50p) 5. Or similar to #4, create a divine (or preferably series) where you can send foals to the SH (with a limit of 5 horses per day) and depending on the prize you have to send more. Like if the prize was a nyx it would be 200 horses sent to the SH, at 5 per day that would be 40 days which would make it the second best nyx dropper and would then be decently wanted 6. Increase the SH payout to match sales prices (3k per foal seems like standard price normally or 5k per unicorn fail since they price those higher) 7.

Sybsaian and Gold Hungry Horse are now in the game.
Golden Hungry Horse Click to display Golden Fleece Sybsaian Click to display Black Orchid
|
Sybsayan seems to be female, Aartavian is male. Any chance they can breed someday? They are bots Extraterrestials.
|
If they breed it's explicitly written.
Since it isn't... Also, they come from different planets
|
Yeah that is true, also don't think Aartavian can hold his breath for so longon that water planet of hers.

what Solar Divine would you guys choose? which one earns the most passes?
|
what Solar Divine would you guys choose? which one earns the most passes? If you are prepared to put in the work and not gain for a few months. Io or Jupiter, who are 10 a day once they start meeting their requirements. If you want a more or less fixed drop rate, go for Mars or Mercury.
|
what Solar Divine would you guys choose? which one earns the most passes? Big ticket earners: * Jupiter The best of the bunch, requires 2 wins per day to win you 10 passes. Requires minimal setup at first (you'll have to be careful to enter competitions he can win and do rides to increase his skills for a while - prioritize Dressage and Speed for Classic and Stamina and Dressage for Western), but once you have the ball rolling he'll net you a solid income of 3560p per year. * Io The second best of the bunch, she requires a little more setting up because she needs to come in SECOND, so once the ball is rolling for Io you'll need to make sure there's somebody who can best her in the competition, or she'll just keep winning 1st place. ^ They are also an amazing combo together. If you don't want to do that, your other best bet is * Mars. Mars is solid, reliable and most importantly his perk stacks. You can get about 9-10 skills per day with Mars (13-14 if you have a lot of pastry divines and Fountain), so 10p every 2 days. HOWEVER, you can keep all of the skill points in the container and if you're short on passes you can just dump all of the skills you have cumulated for a quick burst. "I don't want to take care of horses though!" Then your best bet is good boy Mercury, with 110p per month, you just need to log in every day. If you don't like how he looks, Neptune is also solid with 90p per month. Venus, Saturn and Earth are very sad and should not be considered for such a pricetag. I hope this helps.
|
@Oathkeeper and @Nalu93, thank you both so much! that seriously helps me so much.
i was leaning towards mercury bc of his 110p per month, but honestly he is not the best looking of all. i love the way io, jupiter and mars look, so i think i will go with one of those now. thank you again!
|
Just something I have to point out, why is Sybsaian's perk so weak? For a £30 pack divine, it should drop something better than a black orchid. It just bothers me as the crossover divine offers a golden fleece, so there is a massive value difference between the two for a £20 difference.

Most people wanted tears privilege so of course its only in the most expensive. This why they ask. To make money not happy players.
