At least the draft unis are offered as a pair! (I know they're a ... challenge, but that's kind of why I like them.) And with a Hestia, no less. Why, that's almost TOO easy. default smiley (lol)

Value for the money, though? Not so much.

If you're gonna price at christmas pack level prices, then you BETTER be making the packs worth it! The largest pack is NOT worth what I assume to be $170 in USD exchanged from Euros.

I was in the may packs channel on the OHD server and let me say, it was *brutal* NOBODY liked the prices! In fact we kept saying either lower the prices or add more to increase their worth. And what did howrse do? Add 2k measly passes and NOTHING ELSE!! Really??

This genuinely has to be a joke because honestly I can't even fathom how utterly ignorant these prices are. Whats the point of asking for feedback if you're just going to blatantly ignore every single message tons of people said about lowering the cost or making it actually worth it?

Yes Canadian $. I used an online exchange calculator and it showed 155 Euro converting to $232 Canadian. I always get the Olympus pack which has both Tears and Wand privileges for $135 Canadian.

Not terrible but also not amazing! Prices still expensive for contents of packs. By lowering prices and making packs appealing with divines and privs etc, more people would buy and you'd make more money. By making packs more expensive, people will be put off and not buy. Just bad business and failing to take notice of the breedback from previous packs. I sense howrse team are greedy, stingy with a lack of common sense. Pointless to request feedback if you are just going to ignore it default smiley (o)

Very happy to see that two foundation unis have been offered. Hopefully that is a change that is kept for future packs.

THAT'S IN EUROS??! Why on earth would you put a price so ridiculously high if your first aim is to get players to spend money on your game? That's it. That's the feedback.

I’ll be getting a nebula pack, I just can’t justify spending $232 CAD for the largest pack even though I’d love Mars and a couple of the Japanese divines I could use as well. I’m still a bit frustrated at the lack of passes in the packs but there’s enough new things I really want for my collections that I’ll still get the second biggest pack

Yikes! Well prices put a few things out of question. (1 euro is equal to $1.49 Canadian.)
Would love the big pack, but way too much money for my liking. I might go for 2 or 3 Satellite packs or even a Comet pack. Not too sure yet

*Still just learning about the divines since restarting the game and now they're more available. Trying to decide if any of this is worth anything.

What is an alien sybsasian horse? and Gold hungry horse? I can't find them in the special horses page so maybe they're not released yet? Debating on the Nebula pack, I feel like I'm getting a deal if I buy my subscription and get a divine or pack or something along with itdefault smiley <:o)

I am still waiting to see tailored packs being offered, where we can add the items we WANT to pay for to a cart. Or even just the ability to buy each pack item individually in the store. I guarantee you would sell more and have happier customers that way.

I think it is important to remember that these big packs have always been expensive, especially outside of Christmas. I'm not that disappointed, which is mainly because I went into this knowing that the price and contents wouldn't match the end of year deals. That said, I do expect the end of year packs to keep the same quality and price, as that is the time where many of us spend and treat ourselves.

if howrse downgrades the Christmas packs I think I could confidently say that there WILL be a huge issue throughout all the servers. I think there would be a lot of anger towards it as well.

Personally I believe the only reason there were September packs is because howrse realized how horribly they messed up with the may packs and now that they've got more divines coming out they think they can get the money they *thought* they were gonna make from the may packs but didn't. I actually mentioned in the OHD how there were less pages of the may pack exclusive divines than last years Christmas pack exclusive divines. Of course it's christmas but with how everyone was complaining about the tone deaf prices of the may packs, thats how I know they really messed up. they made less than they expected and now they're making september packs to make up for it

Changing the Christmas packs in a negative way would probably be a disaster for their sales. What makes the Christmas packs so popular is that, while they are expensive, they offer a lot of content for that price. I hope they don't get changed, but I do worry a bit that these packs are them testing what sells and doesn't sell before making changes to the Christmas packs.

They are both new divines being debuted via the packs. There is supposed to be more info on them when the packs are actually available.

Their first feedback for those packs is how much they sell. If they make a satisfying amount of money with them, there's no need to read what players want on the forums.

Can we please have a way to opt out of the game mail for these and fb stuff? I’ve less than 0 interest in giving howrse money and I’m not going to fb. Tired of getting game mail that’s essentially just ads

Seems to me they DIDN'T make the profit they thought they would. We've never had september packs, and the reasoning behind the may packs is it being a sort of mid-year sale. The fact that the september packs came 5 months after the may packs tells me they didn't reach the sales they thought they would and now they need an excuse to make more money to "make up" for it. There's 3 months tills December, whats their excuse for september packs aside from bleeding us dry of our money?

If they keep offering these horrible packs for high prices then I could honestly see the christmas packs selling less than they normally do just because the main selling point of them was the privs and the choose a divine. And now that those aren't christmas exclusive anymore (aside from choosing from all divines and not certain sets) then I could see the popularity decrease

Since the prices increased for less value stuff in these packs. I am worried about Christmas pack prices being increased due to inflation.

I hope they won't dare touch the Xmas packs, since they haven't in 8 years. It would be most upsetting.

Even the monthly personalized packs sometimes have better offers, ie the Harmony Pack one. Sad.

I won't go for any of those packs mainly because they're not the money you need to spend on them compared to the prices. The only fair one is the smallest, because you actually get 600 passes for 5,99. The rest is in my straight opinion useless and not worth going for.

I hoped to see something quite interesting in these packs looking at the current situation in general in terms how hard some people have to work to sometimes put food on the table not even speaking about spending some amount on the game that they love to play it just doesn't feel right that you get a divine horse the price of 35 euros.

35 euros equals to about can we say 3,000 passes? So for 3,000 passes you can actually buy more divine horses than those in the pack offered or even win if you're a bit lucky or get the one that's good in terms of pass paying or the prize you can get from them.

I think the game developers/creators forget the whole point of the packs is to be interesting for the players and be a limited time offer within which you can buy so called packs but they're meant to be lowered in price to the usual ones or I am wrong? Correct me if that's the case but I'm just quite confused here.
