Wanted: Testers!

Are you interested in:

testing new content and features before they're released?

finding and reporting bugs?

answering the Howrse team's questions?

providing constructive feedback and seeing your feedback lead to game adjustments?


If you answered yes to some or all of these questions, you might make a great tester!

How it works

Leave a post here indicating that you are interested. We will add your name to the list of players to be considered for tester positions. Unfortunately, not everyone who applies can be accepted, however, we intend to open this topic several times a year to recruit new testers.

When a test session is active, a banner will appear on your home page until the invitations have all been taken. Testers also receive a private message describing the new test. Once the invitations are gone, the banner disappears. You are not penalized for skipping a test, but accepting an invitation and then not participating can lead to you being removed from the program without warning.

Generally, the minimum amount of participation that is required is a single feedback post in the test forums and some time spent clicking around the test.

What's in it for you?

The testing program itself does not provide any incentives to participate. However, many testers value being able to see the content early and helping to shape it as it is developed.


**NOTE** You must have 9 or more karma to have access to the preproduction server.
