Heres my reason why:
Im 12 years old.
heres my story:

Cassie Raven, Princess of The Dark Death.
She has misty blue eyes, blood red lips and pale clear peachy skin. She has wavy tassled blonde hair and a pair of pearly white fangs.


‘Do it. Nothing’s gonna happen.’
‘But what if something does? Remember Mr. Squiggles?’
‘He was a hamster. A hamster! Get over him, will ya?’
‘Anthony isn't a hamster though. I cant afford to lose him!’
‘He cant afford to lose you, either! Come on! Just two drops; no harm done, right?’
‘Well, I guess you’re right…’

The moon looked like a transparent disk floating in the sky; a lonely, broken, ball wandering among the stars. Fireflies were illuminating the air around me and inviting me to dance. The crickets were playing their music, making a connection between nature and the earth. Everything was so… perfect. No doubt about it. It’s just that something wanted to stick out and ruin everything- and it most definitely did.

I looked over at Anthony who was leaning against a tree. He was sleeping; with his eyes gently shut and his mouth twisted in a tiny smirk. I bet he didn't know we were in the woods that late at night; and neither of us knew what the end result of this little encounter would be. It was all conceived by desire, every little speck of it.

I hovered over his neck, trying to decide whether or not to take the plunge. My mouth began to water. Just thinking about the blood- the sweet, sweet, blood that I hadn’t savored in months-set me off.

‘Maybe you shouldn’t do this.’
‘It was your idea! We’re going along with this now!’

And with that, my fangs met his flesh. As they did so, I felt different; I was whole again. I began drinking his blood and a solid, breath taking shiver slipped down my spine. I was enjoying every second of it, and almost forgot about my victim- the person I was feeding off of.

‘Okay, I think you should stop now. You don’t wanna hurt him.’

Being the stupid little teenager I was, I paid no attention to my subconscious warnings as more syrupy sweet blood entered my mouth. That has got to be one of the biggest mistakes I have made- ever.

“UGH!” Anthony cried out in pain. This made me realize what I was actually doing; the damage I was causing. I went too far. The fireflies finished their performance long before this, so we were alone in the dark- my Achluophobia was beginning to take over me.

Being completely blank at that moment in time, all I could do was cry. Several tears began sliding down my face. A breeze found its way into the woods and caressed my cheek. The silence was just too… quiet. It made me feel odd.

“Don’t die on me,” I whispered in his ear, hoping that that would make him more alive than ever. It didn’t help at all. In fact, I think it made things worse. The horizon was eating the moon up and some random, over happy bird began chirping somewhere above me.

I was attempting to find some hope inside me- that everything that happened was just some weird *** dream- but failed miserably. I lightly touched the veins in his wrist; trying to feel a pulse, but I knew right at that moment that I was done. I didn’t feel anything- no breathing, no heartbeat, no sound. Just me, the woods, and my boyfriend’s dead body.
