This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

So I'm sure most of us old RC collectors will recognize this coat:



I had a dream about it last night. I was walking outside in the rain and suddenly my autobuy picked this coat up for 1300 passes. I was ecstatic! Could not believe the luck! Never though it'd happen to me! Would always be grateful!

...Woke up and discovered it had all been but a dream. Oh well. I know I dreamed about this coat because I actually saw it in the auctions the other day. Happy for whoever got it! default smiley (l)

I know that feeling XD I had that dream sorta like that about this coat and it felt so real I was shocked when I check my account the next morning and saw I didn’t actually buy/win itdefault smiley :odefault smiley (8)! This was a few months back but i still remember that feeling default smiley (lol)

Wish fulfillment in dreams doesn't mean much if you don't get to fulfill them in real life haha! That's an awesome coat, love the touch of green that matches the spider, horn, and eyes.

I used to own a copy on my old acc along with a few other coats. Back then passes were even harder to come by and I wasn’t even able to buy passes unlike the opportunities I do now
That and these two were my favs that I had at that time

One of my top collection goals is to get these three coats once again

Yess! Back in the day, I sold a few RC coats I wish I didn't and desperately want to have another copy of them. All for like 2-3 passes each before our new pass system default smiley :s

I reached out to Bayriver shortly before they quit to ask how they were doing. They surprised me by gifting me Timekeeper. I'm sad to see that they are gone, but I'm glad I will have this horse to remember them by. Did not expect that my post would prompt anyone to give me such a rare and highly-guarded coat.

Bayriver spent a lot of time and effort into building up such a grand collection. It is a new era now that they are gone. Hopefully they are spending this time finding new and fun ways to relax.

I am ranked #73rd in the RC rankings, and being in the top 50 would be my long-term RC goal - I can't imagine how much work it takes to be the top 20, let alone #1!

The recipe for being in the top ranking is simple, a lot of passes, a lot of time, slight panic attack doing every coat release and an actual panic attack when a RC you don't have show up in sales.

If you play to relax and have fun I will not recommend itdefault smiley (d)

Me missing the huge RC dump for 500e in sales because I was looking for my math book :/

Friend got two copies of this coat and was generous enough to sell me one default smiley :o Guess I'm filling comps for years to make up for it!

I don't suppose anyone knows when this one retired? I favorited it just recently, same with 4 other coats that ended up retiring, but I could have sworn they were active coats when I did and the artist hasn't logged on in almost a year, so couldn't have retired them themselves.

I think it's been awhile, because I saw it in sales as retired several months ago.

I didn't get any RCs from the dump, but I got one GA! So I am content. I'm thinking about maybe starting to collect GAs. I've only ever been an RC collector up to this point. So many gorgeous coats out there!
