This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

There's still one or two 100 copies left, been quite a while since I have seen that, gonna guess it's because of how big this release was.

Unfortunately missed out on the two 100 copy riding horse coats, despite selecting them within 5 seconds of them being available default smiley :$ Oh well, I did manage to snag a few of the 200 copy coat though, so not all bad for my first time ever trying to get limited coats at release time default smiley :d

I thought I had the first riding horse, but it didn't go through. Grrr. With the other riding horses it was the same as yesterday: saw them, but they were gone when I got to the horse to put them on. Very annoying.

Having said that, I did get quite a few others. Lost track of how many but I think about 10! Including 2 of the strawberry ponies on strawberry roans so I'm pleased with that!

Would have got a couple more... but I was out of medusas! LOL. Did buy one, but didn't want a couple of others enough!

Does anyone else find it difficult to decide which horses to put harmony packs on and which to use apples? Of course I've ended up with a few with unused packs!

I usually use Apples if it is a 100 copy due to not wanting to use a harm and fail, but will usually use Harms it it is a higher coat and I plan to work further with the horse.

Oh no I'm so stupid. I had in my head that release was at 12:00, completely forgetting that for the last few months it was at 11:00 because of winter time. Had all the horses prepared as well default smiley (h)
I guess I'll see which 200 and 300 copies I can still get

Totally forgot that daylight savings time would make it an hour earlier default smiley :o did manage to get the 200 use pegasus pony and a 300 use riding horse so it wasn't a total fail default smiley xd

You're not alone I had 12:00 in my head too and missed the second release... At least I got two I wanted last night for the pre-release default smiley (8)

It's very strange - I got this coat, and it now says there's only 292 copies! Not sure what happened to the other 8 copies. Also when I put the coat on it had the little VIP symbol by the GA even though I got it in the general release. Maybe there was a small glitch with just this coat?

My RC trophies are taking forever to update, anyone else? Would’ve hit 75 coats with less than 100 uses with this release so my trophy will be gold default smiley (l)

I don't have access to early release but I found the one coat I really wanted for 1,499,000 eqqus in the sales. Spent half of my money on it, but the swan pony peg was worth it default smiley (8)

My favorite of that lot was the blue draft uni with the fishies. Just stunning! Glad I got it on the best draft uni I could find in sales.

For some reason, i thought they were tiny whales...might be my blonde showing lol. I even put them on a background with a whale! I was wondering why they were so tiny, like babies maybe, but even for babies they'd be tiny. Duh, they must be fish! Don't mind me over here, i must has the dumb tonight.default smiley xd

I prefer harmony packs for the 100 uses as you don't have to be careful with checking the payment option like you do with GA's. I always apply earlier and then just add the coat during release.

Spent a small fortune on the coats I missed out on default smiley :'( but at least no auto purchase mishaps this time, I made sure my ongoing ones looking for rare coats I don't have were off - not paying really silly passes for a new 100 user, because I forgot about it, again in a hurry!

Hey everyone, one of the coats released the other day, Dark_witch, already has only 22 copies left of the 100 (all used) on the spanish server. What could possibly have happened there?

My only explanation is that someone got a load of them and killed the horses to increase the value of the coat in sales. Someone is selling one for 2500 passes in the sales. Is that something I would be able to report? Even 100 copy coats usually take several months to years to retire on that server

You're probably right to that being the reason it now has so few copies left, but I don't believe it would be reportable. default smiley :$

I'd be surprised if the player even makes as much back by selling the remaining few they have, in comparison to the amount spent applying all those coats, so maybe karma will take the reins this time default smiley (lol)

Yes one player, years ago, bought every copy of one particular donkey coat on the UK server.

Not sure what there is really to gain as I don't think coat collecting is such a big thing on the regional servers due to lower numbers of players. (I stand to be corrected on this default smiley :p as haven't played actively on any of them in a very long time!)
