Managed to get 2 copies of the draft uni, one copy of the pegasus, and one copy of the pony unicorn before everything ran out.

This was my first release. Happy to say I got both the draft uni and riding peggy

Omg, I clicked to get the coats multiple times and it never went through causing me to miss out on them. I hate this new layout.

Got everything I wanted! Wasn't sure why the riding uni went so fast, I missed that one but I didn't particularly care for it anyway

Were you clicking the "get" button? You now have to select the coat and select the item to pay with after. |
I am incredibly irritated. I have been doing these releases for years and get AT LEAST all of the copies if not 2 of each. It has never happened to me that I clicked on a coat to buy it an my transaction would NOT go through on ANY of the coats even though there were plenty available. This is unbelievable. The new format is not working for me whatsoever.

Yeah I can safely say I hate the new layout even more, after having to deal with it for a coat release. For crying out loud howrse, admit when you've utterly failed to make an aspect of the game better and just roll back the changes! The coat pages lagged between each click, and the payment button being so far away from the coat meant extra seconds. Thankfully I got copies of everything, although it's probably just because everyone else was also slowed down by the clunky and ugly new format.

Yes, I catched the riding pegasus ! I Missed the release on french server yesterday but at least I have one RC here (my first one, yay !). I feel kind of privileged because it's noon here so I don't have to wake up early for the release x)

Yes I was. I learned after they were already all gone, that unlike before you have to actually refresh the page. Before that wasn't needed. At least I know for next month I guess.

Waw I haven't had this much stress for a release in a long time..
I was first going for the Draft unicorn, I refreshed when the new coats appeared, clicked the new coat and wanted to press the buy button, but then my page refreshed somehow again and it unchecked the coat so I couldn't buy it. A few seconds later... I did get them all but we all know a few seconds can mean a lot.  I too liked it more when we could still see the VIP coats before the normal release, I always used it to double check that I was ready to pick up all the coats. Luckily there aren't many limited coats nowadays, but if it were like in the old days of +10, this would be very handy. |
Can't wait until they fix this new layout up! Seems to be a lot of issues, hopefully they'll be sorted before the next release.
I ended up getting 2 coats out of the 4 I was planning on, first time that I've not gotten all the ones I wanted in a long time. Fortunately I got the one I was really keen on (ᴀʀᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇʟ ᴍɪᴄʜᴀᴇʟ) but it didn't seem to work properly on the others.

First time I've been to a release in a year - since I dropped my VIP account - and first time I haven't done early release bc of VIP account in like three years. Absolutely despise the new layout, though I see i'm not the only one. Somehow only managed to grab the winged pony uni even though the draft and and peg still had copies left when I went to "Get". Spent too much time trying to figure the heck was going on to even try for the other two. Glad I managed to at least grab one but this is the first time I can even missing out because of reasons like these.

There is a way around the limited coats disappearing when half the copies are used - you can view them in the directories as soon as vip release goes live and favorite the creation, so then you can pull them up easier at the release.

I managed to get the draft uni on a foundie mare, quite happy about that. I also got the pony unicorn (not a big fan of how it looks but oh well, still happy) and the winged pony unicorn, but I was surprised by how fast the pegasus and riding unicorn were gone - oh well, just means more GAs for next time
 I've only just started collecting so this is the first ever time I've rushed for a 100rc, maybe I'll do better next month. Thanks for putting the species we needed up @Legacy Ann , wouldn't have been able to do it otherwise haha

Andddd.. went to add a ray to the one coat I managed to snag, and rather the RC pop up on the background for "preview", the horse's original coat does? Fun, howrse. Ima just go back to sleep now to let you figure out your problems and BG it later lol

I always do this, but still it is nice to mentally prepare to see the coats with what horse on the same page, without having to switch tabs. |
I noticed that yesterday. Isn't it fun when you are using a limited ray and only have one shot?

That tends to happen when too many people click at the same time for the last few copies, which causes the system to create another copy. |
I went and missed the release yesterday. Today I managed to get 2 copies of the white unicorn, but then the draft was gone! Ah well, it was the uni I really wanted so guess I can't complain.
A bit slower with the new layout, but then that possibly gives more people a chance?

I am truly infuriated by how all of this ''new and improved'' way to search and get the golden apple works.This release was a real torture with all the coat being in new categories and all the back in forth for clicking on the right button.What an horrible way to mess up a part of the game that was doing fine and going strong over the last 12 years. Don't you have money to waste on better thing that do need fixing ....Not sure I will continue to collect anything.

I managed to get the ones I was after.
I added all the limited ones to my favourite creations... opened up the pages for the horses I wanted to apply the new coats to, and then used the tickbox on my favourites and managed to get the limited ones with no issues... might be one of the easier ways of doing it if they keep this new GA/Helio page as it is.

I hate that we can't preview the coat at its full size, either. The coats show up smaller than they are when you use them, and it's super annoying. I have to right-click to open the picture of the coat in different tab so I can actually see it clearly. It's frustrating, and annoying, that they messed up the RC/GA pages so badly.

So did I, but there was a lag of about 30~ seconds until any showed up, and then nothing processed when I clicked 'get' on the draft uni, it only greyed out. The riding peggy didn't even show up when I checked again, and this was all in a period of 15 seconds. There are some issues with the page, it's not just a lack of planning.

I picked a GA draft uni just for trophy, and discovered after I paid for it, it had white lightning all around it, which was not visible in preview and had I known it, wouldn't have used it.
