I don't open my HOPs or even open a hop in general unless I need to open them for the wandering horses. That way even if I get something not great I still get the points towards that horse. win win situation. =] Best one was a nyx pack.

Does anyone know the approximate chances of getting a divine in the HoPs? Anyone know from experience how many they opened before they got one?

Balaban-- there are people who open HUNDREDS of Hops and never find a divine.. then there are some who open 1 and find it... it is all random

It is already in the News article though... has been there for a little while. :/
Why would they label it "5th January" and release it this evening, hours early, if it only started the next morning? They don't say exactly when it starts. Rather confusing. Oh well, I'm guessing my horns were wasted anyway ._. Will see if any extra banners appear later, and might try again.

I want to know when it starts, I don't want to waste my passes but I'm also always confused with Howrse times so i don't want to miss it either. :/

I think it's a glitch. Because it would also say on the BM page. I opened 6 HoP's and got nothing.

I agree. I wanna try for Cascade, but I don't want to waste my HOPs. Though if I wait, it might change to Frost, who I'm not as excited about. I'm just confused, and considering PMing a mod about it.

I think that's a good idea. By the looks of the directory, no one has gotten a Cascade today either so it is most likely to be glitched as well.

I am pretty sure cascade is not in the HoPs yet and wont be until she shows up on the HoP's page in the black market. As for the date I think that was a slip up of some sort. No doubt howrse will have a lot of angry players on their hands who have already opened several HoPs to try and get cascade.

I got Emerald on the first HoP opened, but I opened over 100 and didn't get the Wild Mustang. It's random, I think.

Well, for some reason, loads of people in the Game Play forum were saying "yes, you have a chance already, hurry up before day 2!"...
So I took a (silly, I know) risk, and tried 30 more horns. Still no sign of a divine. ._. Now I don't care if there will be a chance or not - gonna stop there, not buying any more. If this turns out to have been a glitched announcement, I'll not be happy... imagine how many other confused players have already wasted horns for this non-chance.
