I've found that whilst these HOP gifts are available with the April Calendar event, the HOP contents aren't as valuable.
I went for the Hera Pack HOP yesterday for the April Calendar, and that was the only thing of value inside. I shall be waiting until the calendar event is over before buying a HOP purely for the surprise. Unless there are more event ones that are worth the passes.

I got the Hera Pack from opening a Horn of Plenty the other day. I just don't know why you should have to open two to get a Morpheus' Arms. Technically speaking, a Hera Pack and Morpheus' Arms are worth exactly the same.

because, magic09, the M Arms are more valuable, just like the HoP is more valuable than any other 1 pass item.

That depends on your opinion @polar33.
I use hera packs more than morpheus arms, so they're more valuable to me. I use a lot of bmi that are worth one pass more than HOPs. It always depends on the person. |

I just opened 6 HOPs, here's the first one:
Chronos' Timer 3 000 Equus 15 turnips 2 energy mashes The first wasn't all bad. Here's number two: 1 000 Equus MK saddle 45 turnips 5 energy mashes 3 aging points Just awful on number 2. Here's number three: 2 diamonds 2 000 Equus 15 turnips 2 caloric mashes 2 aging points Not much better. Here's number four: 2 000 Equus Made-to-measure saddle 30 turnips 40 apples 2 aging points Again, a bad one. Here's number five: 1 000 Equus Made-to-measure bridle 40 turnips 2 energy mashes 2 aging points Once again, a very bad HOP. Here's the sixth and final one: 7 000 Equus Made-to-measure saddle 35 turnips 2 energy mashes 2 aging points

before the calender i opened one HoP and won my Lips (i was very suprised as i only opened one -i'v heard people open about 5+ to get a divine)
  when ive opened a HoP in the calenders it's only been to get another HoP in return along with some money, turnips and apples |

Used to get a lot of good stuff in my HOP's but since the calendar... Guess I'd better be happy with maybe 3000e a few apples and turnips. Good thing that the calendar gives a good gift along with it otherwise I'd be really upset by now.

I remember I got a Hera Pack in my HOP(from the calendar) there were other things but I can't excactly remember
This is what I remember: 5 diamonds 1000e MK saddle 5 apples 40 turnips 2 ageing points it is only my second HOP in my whole 50 something days on howrse so I can't really tell if that was a good find or not |
