Hello,
Had a little look inside my ec forum and found a good idea.
why don't we play Howrse spotters!
It's very simple you just need to find an extraordinary Howrse and put the link to his page here.
We could look for the Oldest, the fattest, the skinniest, the biggest number of wins in one type of competition and so on, i'll let you imagine which ones we can search together.

Sorry I dont have any to share, but I wanted to.say before anyone gets in trouble...were not allowed to mention in here the specific coat we want the background for, because it is considered an opinion poll. Just mentioning cause it seems that this has happened a few times recently.default smiley :)

Have a look at the message I posted above yours. But from "what would look good with this coat" isn't allowed, no. If you are specific about what you want and not asking for an opinion on a coat/background, I would say that isn't breaking rules.

You're allowed to ask for a specific background that you are after. For example: "I'am looking for a background with other horses in it." default smiley :)

I don't know what I'm looking for in most cases. I currently have a coat I'd love to find a matching background for, but I'm not in search of a particular feature. Just something that would match the coat, but that's not allowed apparently so the horse will never have a background as I won't sell her.

Ok, i thought it was breaking the rules to share the specific coat at all. This is good to know...learn something new every day!default smiley ^) So let me get this straight...if i say i'm looking for backgrounds with this specific feature, i can say for what coat i'm wanting to use it on? As long as i don't say, what rays would go good on this coat?

Its not my intention to be bossy or anything so i hope i didn't come across that way...i just didn't want anyone to get in trouble (the terms instant forum ban sound scary ha ha), and i certainly didn't want the topic to get locked. I know it wasn't to that point yet, but ive seen other topics get locked. My apologies!default smiley :)

No worries! I toke your words into consideration and asked a fellow Mod about it and they agreed with me. As long as you keep within this topics forum rules on not wanting other players to pair up a picture of your horse(s) with a background with no specifications and to keep what this topic is about on Howrse Spotters, i.e looking for the most wins, the oldest horse, etc, I think it fits within the rules. As for your question ~ I would say that if you need to post the coat for a reference without asking for opinions on the matches for it then yes but only if you need to. Does that make sense?

Yep, makes sense to me! Thanks for clarifying the rules. And thank you for looking for landscapes. Sadly none of them really fit well, I wonder if there's a background out there that is dark gray with clouds and some red here and there?
