I just wanted to provide a bit of feedback on the objectives - Today I had "do 40 missions" over on UK, which gave me 20 passes. Without an MA, this would be 40 aging points, and based on the going rate of 1 point costing 9 passes, that means this objective would have cost me 360 passes I am a little confused. You can do a mission with 40 different horses and not spend a single AP, why should this be a problem? Same with "walk in the forest for 40 hours" etc. |

Does the latest change mean that when you have a team horse and want to take covers you only see your teams covers, you can no longer see public? Is that just "over" the scale that's activated?

@Ruffian I don't think so. Checking my teams page, there is now an option in which teams can limit the maximum GP for offering covers. No mention if it's just for team covers or public covers as well. I'm going to assume it's more for public covers so a member doesn't accidentally offer above release GP covers to the public.

Happy to see the public covers cap finally arrive, they should've added this as soon as they added the sales cap, but I'm happy to finally see it.

From how I'm reading we are able to use team covers on mobile. SO happy to see this as having to switch to classic version slows me down a bunch for covers.

I have a limit for covers, I can assure you I cannot choose public covers for my mare who has gp above the cover cap

I wasn’t sure if it was both mare and stud which is why I was asking for clarity. It automatically defaulted to the sales cap when I turned it in which is fine, there is no way to tweak it, it’s either on at sales cap or off.
I wish they’d fix the covers disappearing if you castrate.

Why do covers disappear if you castrate? When was this change made? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I want to say this was made long ago, I "thought" when they made the change that as soon as you put one for sale, all outstanding covers were suppossed to disappear so that people couldn't use up public/reserved donk and draft covers while they were in the sale barn waiting to be bought with "all covers"

I love that you can now get team coverings on mobile! I used to have to go to classic on my phone, then I would go back to mobile to make it easier, this will be great!

@ ruffian does this seem like a new change or are you only just noticing because of the other new changes? Do they disappear if you Bolt as well?

Without an MA, this would be 40 aging points, and based on the going rate of 1 point costing 9 passes, that means this objective would have cost me 360 passes if I was to buy the points 1 by 1, or a little under a 1/4 of the aging point pack, which if you divide by 150 is 4 passes rounded, 3.26 unrounded. Even with the pack, I would have had to have spent over 6 times the worth of the payment to do this objective. There are also the seemingly more frequent "use an item from ____ category", which are usually over double the pass value of what the payout would be if you had to buy the item. The objectives would cost way too much compared to what they would pay out if you had to buy the items to use. 10 and 20 passes would have been an acceptable payout with only the old objectives, as there were fewer harder objectives and you didn't have to use pass items anywhere near as frequently, but now that there are more "use this item", "ride in the __ for __ hours", "do ___ missions", "stroke a donkey/draft unicorn", etc, the payout is no longer fair. What I am suggesting is to either scale the payment to cover at least half the cost, give us a third optional objective where the harder objectives will be and a higher pass payout, or just increase the payout. At present time, it just isn't worth it if you are lacking what you need to use or if you need to buy one of the more expensive species to use. The 15/30 pass objectives should be the new standard, not just available once in a while, while the bonus is closer to 25/45 passes for the two objectives. These replaced pass horses, which were a possible 3000 passes a month if you sent enough to get everything, so having the 840-930 passes a month made near impossible/expensive to get for the average player really isn't fair, at least in my opinion. I know Howrse is a business and all that, but I feel if people are putting in the effort to get these passes, it shouldn't be as difficult as it is now to get them. 100%

I am a little confused. You can do a mission with 40 different horses and not spend a single AP, why should this be a problem? Same with "walk in the forest for 40 hours" etc. That is if you have 40 horses to do missions with. For me this is a easily doable objective, but for players who play with a small amount of horses, this can get really expensive. Also factoring in whether or not those horses need to be boarded and are old enough to do missions.

Is anyone else experiencing an issue with giving covers to their own horses and not seeing where they have gone? I like that feature and am seriously annoyed that it's not working, and unicorn covers are just disappearing. Please FIX IT.

This needs to be looked into immediately!

It's the same for everyone, and on the US server too.
I reported it and got this reply: Our Dev team has been notified of the issue with coverings and we will be investigating the question. We will contact you as soon as we have or need further information. Thank you for your patience! I guess all we can do is wait and hope the problem is fixed soon

ALL of the button on mobile are now red. Post a message, publish this message, log in, accept cookies, like they look so bad! Blue is soothing to the eye whereas red.. I love red but this is a horrible update. Im glad I only use it when I’m out and about

Since I still cannot see the coverings that I reserved for my own unicorns, I have lost several hours between breeding gaps that a female unicorn must wait before covering. If I were able to do it this morning, I would have been able to breed them again this evening. Instead, I am still waiting to breed them even one time for today.
Why would Howrse require a waiting period for female unicorns if we cannot even breed them (with a reserved covering) in the first place?

Has anyone heard ANYTHING from the support team, other than that they are investigating?
It's been about 12 hours now and am still unable to do even one breeding between my 2 unicorns.
