It's to help guard against players learning something they might not want to know yet. For example, some players came here wanting to know only about EC changes - not about any new promotions, Divines, etc. By using the spoiler banner (most of which also gave a basic note about what was under the banner) - helps prevent players from seeing something they didn't want to know yet. Of course, it doesn't always work - but it is a courtesy.

For example - It is common knowledge that Draft Horses are being added to the game (all known information is in the Time Line, was mentioned in the Blog, etc). As such, when asking/talking about them - a Spoiler is not needed. *Common knowledge*

However, if someone had a screen shot of what they looked like, knew their skills, etc. That would require a spoiler banner.

Two draft horse breeds are added to the game!

Draft horse breeds work in the same manner as donkeys, meaning they can breed three times in their lifetime.
They behave the same as other horses (BLUP, competitions, training...).
Mission earnings are twice the earnings of a regular horse: they earn twice as many skill points, twice as many Equus and bring twice as many resources or Equus to the equestrian center.
Players can submit creations for draught horses in the creative space.

How can one aquire the new breeds? (Tried to make it as general as possible. I don't know how to do the spoiler thingy.

There are no new breeds, the newest was released in December and it was the Lipizzaner. You can buy any breed available in the sales.

Zanners where released in Dec.

By Zanners do you mean Lipizzaners? They were released in December. I've never seen anything nor have Howrse said anything about Haflingers being put on the game

does any one have a clue as to when the next great challenge is? I would love to know I feel like i'm getting bored with out it

Each server has different breeds.

Yes, @Vesplain, but usually they end up adding some breeds to make each server more equal, so each one has it's perks. Also, they usually try to make each server even, so hopefully the Int. Server will get their own, unique breed(s). -The Hunger Games

I wouldn't say anything new is coming unless it's on prepod or it's announced. Just because they have had it for a long time now doesn't mean we'll get it.

I wouldn't anticipate any new breeds beyond drafts and unicorn Lippizaners in the next 4-5 months.

I thought the go would have shown up by now... Any idea how much longer the wait will be?

I think sometime this month. they postponed it due to the changes, but hopefully it'll be back this month
