You can always win divines on level 8. I won both a Sleipner and an Amethyst the other day (posted a pic here a few pages back).
If you try your luck and fail, you lose everything.

So if it is still possible to win divines on level 8, what sort of divines tend to show up on that level?

Thanks monty, I was a little worried, I really love my scarecrows, I grow crops as often as I can...crafting green houses isn't going to be terribly fun, I love the one I have, but I'll make due.

So we can only make batch of an item at a time, in a workshop?

If thats true, there won't be much money making. I want the old game back.

It depends:

Click to display
Boxes - same rule of 1 box for every 2 days seniority

Greenhouses - Unlimited number, but they still count as crop growing meadows so you can only have 6 in use at a time.

Workshops - You can have up to five, however - your Prestige will determine how many of them can be active at a time:

Between 0% and 20% prestige: 1 active workshop
Between 20% and 40% prestige: 2 active workshops
Between 40% and 60% prestige: 3 active workshops
Between 60% and 80% prestige: 4 active workshops
Between 80% and 100% prestige: 5 active workshops

So for example; if your prestige is 55% - you can have 3 workshops active at the same time. You can have them all produce the same thing, you can have them produce different things.

For example; You could have two of them produce Tack that you will use for your Boarders (- and the other one producing Tack that you will sell at the store.

Even with a single small workshop - though slow, there is money to be made depending on the Market:

3*** Classical Saddle for example;

A small workshop can produce 10 of these in 3 days, 5 hours

The total resource costs (if gotten from the store) are:
Iron 1,600e
Leather 18,400

Total Cost: 20,000e

At present time on Preprod - a 3*** Classical Saddle sells for 2,320

2,320 x 10 = 23,200e

A profit of 3,200e. To add - your profits might be more if your Center is in the Mountains and you did not need to purchase the Iron.

Though I will agree - depending on the market, it might be hard to make money with Crafting, so selling Raw goods (ex. Straw bedding, extra apples, etc) might still be the best way to get money

Just wondering, is it possible to find other divines in the titans Challenge still, or is it just Balios?

If there are others, who would they be? (Gemstones, greyfells?), and what is the minimum level you'd need to get to for them?

Also, if you got to level 7, tried your luck and failed at that level, would you lose the greyfell, or still get him for reaching 7?

If you make it to Level 8 - you can occasionally find a Divine hiding there as well [no guarantee though that you will find one]. These Divines have included in the past: Balios, Sapphire, Jade, and Pearl (there might be others, but these are ones I have seen people win)

You would only get the Divine on that level IF you stopped and claimed your gifts. So if you are on Level 6 and fail to move to level 7 - you won't get the Divine. The same is true if you are on Level 7, and try to move up to Level 8 and fail...again, your Divine and other items are lost.

A couple things- Do anyone know what sand will be for? Also, when drafts come out, will you be able to produce Draft horse coats?

Sand is

Used for both the Crafting and Repairing of Boxes, Workshops, and Greenhouses

Draft Horses are

Click to display
Not due to come out until sometime in May. If by 'Draft Horse Coats' you mean for the Creation Space - Yes, as stated in the Preprod Time Line section about Drafts:

Two draft horse breeds are added to the game!

Draft horse breeds work in the same manner as donkeys, meaning they can breed three times in their lifetime.

They behave the same as other horses (BLUP, competitions, training...).

Mission earnings are twice the earnings of a regular horse: they earn twice as many skill points, twice as many Equus and bring twice as many resources or Equus to the equestrian center.

Players can submit creations for draught horses in the creative space.

*Draught is another word for Draft (often used in the UK)

What raw materials are used for crafting saddle pads, leg wraps, and ear bonnets?

I think very early on some people suggested sheep for wool to make these but since that idea didn't make it, I am wondering will be used.

Thank you.

Nope - however;

Click to display
I did find a screen shot of the Create a Team page that had Shires listed as a breed, so it's possible that this will be one of the breeds. But nothing is known for sure.

No sheep, instead - we will be using:

Flax (bedding) for that purpose.

If this seems strange, I direct you to an article about Flax;

Flax fiber is extracted from the bast or skin of the stem of the flax plant. Flax fiber is soft, lustrous and flexible; bundles of fiber have the appearance of blonde hair, hence the description "flaxen". It is stronger than cotton fiber but less elastic. The best grades are used for linen fabrics such as damasks, lace and sheeting. Coarser grades are used for the manufacturing of twine and rope, and historically for canvas and webbing equipment.

quothraven - you are most welcome (figured I'd add in that little bit of information as I know some players will probably be going: Why? That makes no sense.)

For the first month we will be able to try different locations with our own ECs..How often is that possible - once each update? Or at any time, which could be rather frustrating if you choose to board in a particular location EC only to find later in the day that it had moved.default smiley (lol)

It seems to be any time - as in a matter of minutes I was able to switch from Forest, to Beach, to Mountain, then back to Beach on Preprod.

Might see if there's anything on that, or if it could be changed to being once per day (So that if you set yourself Forest - you'll be in Forest until next game update)

I have been looking forward to the ec changes up to this point. This next stage seems to make the ec more complicated and time consuming but I will just wait and see what happens. If the ec starts taking my time and too much equus (I will not spend passes on my ec) away from my breeding I will just let it sit and have it just for a place to keep my horses and possibly make a little equus from crop sales. That would be the end of any future skillers for me, my lessons are currently 60e but would drop quite low if I used it for blupping my horses.

Looking forward to the addition of draft horses though default smiley :)

From what I can see on Preprod:

Click to display
1* and 2** Saddles - nope, they will remain a constant price and the same price they are now

3*** Saddles - like now, will still continue to fluctuate in price based on supply and demand

Isis as a new divine.... Wow. My howrse dreams are confirmed. I now want this horse SO BADLY, it's not even funny. I am so obsessed with ancient Egypt, and it would nice to see some of the other gods, like Horus, Ra, Bastet,{Bast}, Anubis, and maybe Set.....if howrse is generous. default smiley ;)
