[quote=1402493851][author]Retired breeder[/author]I get it now. Howrse will probably change it, as so many players are complaining about it. I don't see what else they can do.[/quote:0]

I wish, and hope so, but Howrse has a nasty way of not listening to us players. If they already came up with the image it is most likely going to be implemented. This is wrong in so many ways, but I doubt Howrse will listen, they never do.
[quote=1402493708][author]ɴᴇᴄʀoᴍᴀɴᴄᴇʀ[/author]I 100% agree, the whole idea is absolutely horrid. I truly hope that it does not make it out of prepod. default smiley (n)[/quote:0]default smiley (y)default smiley (y)default smiley (y) I think that this idea will force a lot of players to delete. Myself included.

As an RC collector I am not happy about this at all. If a player submits a coat as a limited release and chooses how many copies they wanted it to have there should be NO more copies allowed. And PRE- creation space coats should not even be allowed to factor in on this...
default smiley (y) I agree. One thousand percent.

I am disgusted at the possibility of re-releasing RETIRED coats. This is hardly a legitimate change; coat artists specifically chose limits or decided to retire their pre-creation space coats.
It isn't right to steal dozens, or even hundreds, of potential pass value from RC collectors and hand out 'new' copies to anyone who will get a pass pack for Christmas. These coats will be flipped again and again, and their value will plummet tremendously. It wouldn't be worth keeping RCs of 'high' value, because there is always the threat of Howrse churning out more copies.

This is the one change that makes absolutely no sense to me; it doesn't help anyone, and it certainly IS hurting players.

@Sugar Angel

I don't think they will..the VIP forum had a petition over something once. There were about 300 posts, but nothing happened. So, I don't think they'll change it, as they're getting money.

I bet I get slammed for that one.
Who cares.
Cause I sure don't.
We have worked so hard to get these RARE retired coats. Even five, six more uses....their value SINKS.
Thanks, but no thanks.

It is very bad. Why release old coats? That's the whole point of the new ones! (Iant it?)

Good businesses don't alienate a major portion of their clients. Good businesses increase revenue through innovation.

Please Howrse, make something new instead of digging up the old, which doesn't need any sort of 'fixing'.

Exactly. If you want to have more RC's, allow more 100 users to go through on the 26th Howrse default smiley (n)

@ Sugar Angel: Out of all the events I really hope it's NOT that one - you have so little control of the board and dice, and the rewards were very slim if you make one wrong move or have continuous bad luck with the dice roll..

If you put more copies of retired coats out, people will have wasted hundreds of dollars, euros, etc on not-so-rare-anymore-coats.

Please, please listen.

Plus the factor that collecting things, RC in this case, also got an emotional value, which can't be messured in equus, passes, real money. To me this is the worst part. Yes, we will also lose passes and equus and not only a few players also real money they invested in their collection. But it also breaks a bond to the game if the collectors connection to their collection gets touched. It maybe pride, memories, certain art favourites, fun to be at such and such rank whatever the likes are. This will be broken or severely effected. A bad move, a real bad move. And a serious problem when it comes to trust in anything about this game anymore. Not that I did much after all the changes and turn overs, but if nothing is kept in value and in danger to be de-valued or taken away with the stroke of a pen, well, I am missing the words I could write here.

All I say is never underestimate the psychological factor in whatever you do and the consequences it may have for your customers if you run a business. Ignoring a collector's heart or even trampling on it will be a boomerang. It will have an echo. Watch how many players collect and then decide if you really wish they stop doing so. Selling these packs is a one time action, collecting coats for us is a long term investment.

Maybe the RC thing is only for coats that are post CS when some of the horses are dead (Like when a coat is 185/200) So only those 15 coats could be retrieved? that wouldn't be so terrible....right?
Don't like my analogy? Well, watch it happen.
