June preview from a few days ago.
Click to display It also mentioned the Chimeras and the Summer divine. No idea what this is though. Are we getting a new custo item I forgot about? Or a promo I forgot about?

June preview from a few days ago. Click to display It also mentioned the Chimeras and the Summer divine. No idea what this is though. Are we getting a new custo item I forgot about? Or a promo I forgot about? Click to display My first thought was a summer or beach themed Hiking Journal but the left silhouette doesn't match the Journal outlines. It might be a new item altogether, but I'm fairly confident that the left silhouette is a book of some sort (with corner protectors and a ribbon bookmark). The right silhouette looks like a standing umbrella that you'd use at a beach. I'm rather looking forward to see what it is.

Regarding the June spoiler banner, the
Click to display book icon represents the fairy tale book we click on whenever we work our fairy tale horses

Good eye!
Click to display I initially had the same thoughts as @Veren, but also noticed it didn't quite match the Hiking Journals. So, I suppose that means we could be getting a(nother) new Fairy Tale divine? I also wonder if they're going to do another Olympics themed promo. The summer Olympics are in Paris, France, so I think it would be a missed opportunity if they didn't. Also... Want to know something funny. I posted that image on Facebook and they took it down as going against "community standards". Go figure. Maybe they want to keep certain content separate from other social platforms to increase engagement on them. Or it was a random fluke. But regardless, that's funny.

It was likely Facebook itself that took it down. It's known to remove perfectly acceptable images and posts for rather bizarre reasons, or reasons not given, as it were

It's known to remove perfectly acceptable images and posts for rather bizarre reasons, or reasons not given, as it were I am pretty sure it was one of their bots. I reposted it thinking maybe what I said was wrong but it was taken down in a matter of seconds again.

Regarding the June spoiler banner, the Click to display book icon represents the fairy tale book we click on whenever we work our fairy tale horses It may be a long shot, but Click to display The Sandman uses an umbrella to give children good or bad dreams. It does look more like a parasol, though, so I'm not sure.
|
Click to display Yeah I'm blanking on a well-known fairy tale that uses an umbrella too. The Sandman is probably the closest one although I don't know if I'd call it a fairy tale exactly. Unless it's not an umbrella at all. Or it's just implying a beach theme and not an umbrella specifically, in which case... uh, Treasure Island? Peter Pan?

Does Click to display Mary Poppins count as a fairy tale?
|
It shouldn't.
Children's literature and Fairy Tales are very different genres

i definitely need the Englishized one, as i don't know any French lol. Click to display But the French way would be the most logic one, as Poitou is a region in France . It's not that difficult: pwa-tou. You can also say croissant I guess LOL. Kr-wa-san. The oi is pronounced wa in French.
|
Click to display I wonder, does anyone have any info about the new Spice horse 'Cloves' that is coming this weekend? Picture, perk? I've been googling, but without result
|
Perk is impossible to know, except that Spices all have pass perks (it's on their page)

It shouldn't. Children's literature and Fairy Tales are very different genres This is true. On the other hand, Click to display Alice in Wonderland and The Nutcracker aren't fairy tales either and both those are included in the series, so it's not impossible they'd branch out. I'm not sure if Mary Poppins would be able to be included though, due to the books being much more recent and still copyrighted.
|
I'm not entering the Lewis Caroll debate, but Nutcracker is a fairy tale. The ballet might be the most known version, but like most ballets it comes from other sources.
The original story IS a fairy tale
|
Also, Mary Poppins is public domain, but translations aren't
