well that pm doesn't sound ominous at all...
wary but curious. I can barely play the normal game, I'm not gonna be able to do an entire test server of a new playstyle overhaul(?). hopefully the servers don't give out too quickly like they seem to assume they will and someone can generously report what the heck is going on to the rest of us.

The French server will enter this Friday on a limited players play test. I am counting on them to relay at least something.

I do wish the PM had been more clear what they mean by "new game mode". Is the whole game getting revamped or is it just some new addition being made that hasn't been previously on the game? It kind of sounds like the first, but I hope not. I haven't liked their previous massive overhauls at all.

I also don't even understand what we as players are supposed to do. I don't want to take part in testing but it sounds like everyone is going to have to do it?

I am severely dreading this...please, do not ruin this game for me (or us)!

If they switch it all to mobile mode then a lot of us will be leaving.

Actually, rereading a few times it looks like testing is *available* to everyone but not required, so that's good I think.

I'm still pretty worried about what their new "mode" could possibly be, though. Bracing myself for bad news, whatever it is.

People on the French server speculate on a Battle mode similar to the old Dragow, but who knows.

Dragow was an old Dragon game by Owlient (is where the dragon divines and their fight system come from, incidentally!) where you had to fight over control of floating islands to gather resources to breed even more powerful dragons so on and so forth.
It was very PvP because resources were limited and controlled by the fastest/strongest players every single time.

It closed very quickly, however, and never reached Howrse's success.
