It's a new item, "Snowman family", like the Hiking Journal. They did say we'd get more special coats.

It's so stocky though.

Maybe this one could be Japanese new year themed? It’s common to visit a shrine on the new year and the rectangular shapes remind me of the wooden plates used there for making wishes.

Thats possible, I wouldnt mind that too much but this coat is just unsuitable for both an item or a divine I thought they didn't silhouette Yvain when he came out?

I do not think it is ugly (especially if it does turn out to be a snowman) It might be a bit stocky, but it has the same look my pony gets when he's trying to work out if I have carrot!

I also love Japanese divines

Compared to the looks of Merry Christmas and Joyeux Noel he IS ugly looking. I don't know how to better express myself, but he doesn't seem like an adequate Xmas horse.
Even Caradoc has more charm, and he's a donkey (but he's THE CUTEST okay?!)

I guess we have different tastes then, because I'm not fond of the other Christmas horses (I do like Caradoc!)
If he is meant to be made of snow, then the crisp look the others have would not suit

I still think the new one is cute, even if it looks pony-ish in some spots, and draught-ish in others

If he's called Buon Natale though I'll cry a lot inside.

Had to discuss the matter with my fellow Norwegians and we all came to the same conclusion: the new one is cute!
So let's hope that if it is a christmas divine it is indeed a scandinavian one!

Today I learnt that the first documented snowman was Dutch, I had no idea.

I like him but I think Nalu is right, his art doesn't look very clean and sleek. He fits in well art wise with the background behind him, but I feel like he'd look almost grainy taken out of it. Maybe grainy isn't the right word, but I think he needs to be cleaned up a bit before release. More definition maybe? I don't know exactly, I'm not an artist.

I do like him though! I wouldn't be mad if he was released exactly the way he is. I thought the black buttons on him were cute when I first noticed them.

Like shinto priest who has some sort of talisman paper (like those omamori or ofuda) flying around it because it's enchanting(not sure if that's what it's called ?) them to create protective charms or luck charms of some sort

The paper stuff in what I assume is the hair also looks a bit like the paper shinto priests have hanging around their shrines on the ropes as well as on some kind of staff (which I sadly cannot find the name of)

(quick Google reveals it's called shide paper and is something used on the shrines as purifying)

Omg I need to complete my rainbow collection - I have over 700 fragments for Indigo and Purple each. Plus 400 for Yellow. Will be very pleased if the rainbow cycle starts up again. I am fairly sure that Blue was the first Rainbow divine to show up in the last cycle so I wonder if they will keep the same order.
