[FT] Spoiler Zone!

Hello,

This topic is made to receive any of the spoilers concerning new features you find or feel like sharing.

Players that are in the test may decide to share what they are experiencing or not.

Of course please remember to use the spoiler banner when sharing new information with everyone.

To make the Spoiler Banner:

[spoiler*] the text you want to hide [/*spoiler]
Make sure you are removing the asterisks (*) before posting.

You can post screen shots as long as you also use the spoiler banner to cover them.

On this topic, you may talk about what isn’t on the game yet.

Warning: We do not guarantee that any of the info that is posted in here is true or accurate. Nor that the features will be launched on the game.

Please remain polite with each other; no one has the prerogative of spoiling or a patent on the rumours and spoilers that are on the game.

Thank you for your collaboration and understanding.

Regards
Ow

This forum is for posting spoilers for events and things that are not currently on Howrse, but may be brought in - if your post wasn't posting some new information about Howrse and how it is going to develop, then it wasn't in the right place.

The main purpose is to discuses/post 'spoilers' that may or may not come into the game.

The mods have lives beyond this game believe it or not and we're not on here 24/7. Plus...if players would actually follow the rules right off the bat then this forum wouldn't be such a mess and there wouldn't be so many people complaining!

maybe the topic should clearly state the rules. nowhere in the post does it come right out and say "do not post any messages that do not relate to the topic".

Irene Lynne wrote:

Now...where does it specifically say players can post spoilers about everything else under the sun? It doesn't!

it doesn't say that we can, but it also doesn't say that we cannot.

The test site. And it has been posted (somewhere) that you should not post about stuff on the howrse blog. When mods speak, you listen.

The test site is a totally different site that is used to...well...test stuff they want to place on the game. The howrse blog gives you specific information.

They have been stated by mods many many times now. You were just told by a mod what the rules are yet you continue to be comfortable arguing against them?

If a mod tells you not to talk about other stuff with the spoiler tag then it is within your best interest to listen. Using the spoiler tag is annoying when there is nothing to spoil. When you are in the forums you are supposed to follow the theme of the thread.

Maybe players should not take it upon themselves to go ahead and feel free to post whatever they want...and...ruin it for everyone else who actually want to see the true spoilers which Ow stated was allowed and not have to wallow through tons of nonsense!

But in the rules it does state to 'Respect the themes set for each forum'.

Last I checked mods hold the power. If a mod tells you not to do something then you should listen. Being ornery doesn't help. The rules are very precise. Go read the forum rules. Yes. It is mods jobs to 'nail' people for doing things that are wrong. That is why they are here.

Did you ever think about the possibility that it should not be necessary to tell you (or anyone else) that? Why is it so hard to think it obvious and self-evident that in a topic for spoilers about possible future features of the game, only spoilers about possible future features of the game are what wanted?

Seriously. Those things are called "spoilers"! A spoiler is called spoiler because it can spoil the surprise of what the future brings for others. So, the only possible valid reason to use a spoiler-tag is to hide something that is not common knowledge and can ruin things for those who like to be surprised. Nothing else. Not testing spoilers, as the only who would be surprised that it works is the player posting, and certainly not random chat comments.

Your own proplem if you choose an unwise path.

I think they have been spelled out qiute well if you read through the topic before posting random nonsense. No one is 'being nailed' by having their nonsense post censored.

If I was driving and I chose to speed I shouldn't get in trouble as in most places it does not say I cannot speed. Do you think the officer would care about that excuse? Nope. I would get a ticket all the same.

I was trying to show you your fualty logic. Clearly you did not understand...

That is not at all true. They would get in trouble if they abused their power. I think you need to learn some respect.

If you cannot use your common sense to interpret that the purpose of a topic is to post relevant comments related to the subject at hand, we really cannot help you any further...
Retired breeder wrote:

What bogus rules? I think you mean the ones that are in place for privet and public forums. They are the same all across the board. If a player is doing something wrong, then it is a mods job to inform the player and take the necessary measures.
Please use common sense. You are acting in a very arrogant manner. Maybe you are not trying to, but that is how it is coming across.

On a different note...

I am very excited about the new species of horses that are coming to howrse. (1st page that Lilith posted)

Alright.. one of my posts what censored.. and I'm pretty sure it was dealing with the new things coming up.. I'm just getting confused here.. XD Sorry.

That's the only confusion I have.
I even spoiled my post..
Unless I'm thinking of past posts..

Either way, since there's nothing new here, I think I'm going to flee and return later.

I am too lazy to use the spoiler tag, so I am being vague. default smiley (lol) I like how they look, but if I never get one I am happy with that. I just like seeing the creative stuff howrse comes out with.
