Katiedingo: I'm sorry what? How is it hard to find a stallion in a breed? Do you mean do drafts that have limited breedings?

Should be easy to find stallions. Zeus Lightning Bolt, anyone?

Please do not be wishing for any new breeds, there is plenty now that people have quite breeding. It is getting impossible to find stallions on several breeds now. I'd love some new breeds... Would be interesting to see the graphics for a few breeds, such as the Clydesdale or the Cob |
Just the regular hoses. My haffie mares are above any stallions in the market and my GP is now going backwards, Morgans and apps are getting the same way, but I have not had any go backwards yet just a slight rise in GP.
I had a 20 point drop onmy haffie foal this morning and that was not worth he over 7000e in breeding fees. I am just going to have to self some horses for awhile.

How is it hard to find a stallion in a breed? I've found with some breeds - it is harder to find quality horses to breed with due to various factors. Take the Barb and Gypsy Vanner for examples - these are some of the oldest breeds on here. Let's also take one of the newest breeds - the Lippizan (something that a lot of people kept asking for) GP of the current best horse of each of these breeds: Barb - 4593.16 Vanner - 5767.21 Lippizan - 5657.37 So even though the Barb has been on here longer than the other two - it has less 'progress' in its genetic advancement. Whether that's from a lack of interest in this breed or not, or other factors (ex. no 'ideal competition' for BLUPing) is hard to say however. Even some of the most popular breeds have been cast aside in the past in favor of a new breed. Some - like the KWPN, who dominated the rankings for months after their release...Still maintain their popularity, even though other breeds (Selle Francais) have taken over the rankings. Others - like the Barb mentioned above, have only a handful of people still working with them. As such, for someone who wants to get into breeding quality horses...it can be harder for them to find what they need. If I go to the Sales right now to try and find horses with a GP in the above ranges: Search set to Purebred - no passes Lippizan with 5000 or more GP = prices as low as 20,000e (search set to GP >5000) Vanner with 5000 or more GP = prices as low as 4,000e (search set to GP >5000) Barb with 4000 or more GP = No results (search set to GP >4000) Even when I put passes into the equation, I still could not find any barbs for sale in the 4000 GP range. If I dropped it to 3000 however, I got a handful or results (priced between 30,000 to 170,000e) ~*~ Even with the above though - I am not opposed to new breeds - however, I will admit I'd rather see new Drafts as opposed to new Riding Horses or Ponies.

*Correction, I looked at the OP and apparently not there. My mistake. I often wonder why it wasn't there in the first place - but it's there now [Magic Mod Editing Powers! ] Might help people out who have not been here a lot

Sorry to bother but does anyone have a link to the first map? (with shortest path)
And possibly the gifts found on each spot? Thanks in advance (; |

Thank you so much, Shorah!

I would love some new Drafts. I love the Shire graphic but their skillset isn't ideal, either for pure breeding or crossing, and I don't think a Shire x Percheron produces anything special. I think it would be interesting to see a Draft introduced that has a Prix skillset - that'd be something of a bloodsport

Is there trophy for divine?
I think it would be interesting to see a Draft introduced that has a Prix skillset Not really, they have double lessons, they would be best very soon...

^ That's why I said it would be interesting lol

Oops sorry, about the spoiler banner... Heh, you need a ] after the first spoiler, not a = like the url code. But that's not really a spoiler anyway since at the moment there's not even a whisper of them coming to the game so there's no problem~

Ninja Spoiler Fix - not that its needed but
Like ShorahNagi was saying we need more breeds that are more popular in the real world like the Clydesdale and the Belgians, Click to display the saddlebred would be a nice add and wood be great if they added more competitions like the carriage driving, and even show competition In regards to new competitions though...They take a lot more to program than new breeds (it took over 3 years before we got other Western Competitions besides Barrel Racing, and it was a good two years before Dressage was added before that) Not to mention - there would need to be a competition added to both disciplines to keep it even (Ex. if Classical gets something like Hunter added, Western would also need something added (like Roping)) Then comes the question of if the Grand Prix would change as well - would it include these events weekly? Would they be rotated (ex. every other week Hunter/Roping replaces Dressage/Western Pleasure?) Anyhow - I'd rather the Howrse team work on fixing a few things and making some practical changes (still begging and hoping for tabs for organizing my meadows and boxes in my EC - we have breeding farms for our horses, why not for our meadows/boxes [it would make rotating/repairing easier]) than adding new features like a new competition (new horses/divines are fine in my book though)

does anyone know what the Divine Ra looks like? Or info? Thanks

does anyone know what the Divine Ra looks like? Or info? Thanks We aren't sure what any of the other Egyptian divines look like at the moment - Only Isis, Osiris, Thoth and Horus.

Is it possible to get Isis in HOP's now?
|
I thought I'd seen that Howrse was lowering the requirement in the TCs for getting the treats. This is rediculous having to get to level 3 for a chance at just a few treats. I've already burned 5 TCs and haven't even hit level 3 yet. Talk about expensive! May be cheaper to just buy the treats outright. Has anyone figured out the math on this?

Is it possible to get Isis in HOP's now? Yes, it's possible - I won her after 13 HOPs. It's just luck. You can win 6-10 treats for 2 passes with TCs but have to pay 1 pass for 1 treat outright, so I would say that buying them in the TC will always be the better option. But that's just my opinion.
