The main purpose of the Advent Calendar seems to be to give out additional decorations for players to use on their Trees for the Tree Decorating Promo...however, it can (and does) offer other prizes.

As stated;

Gifts given will differ between players - so while I might get 3 Red Baubles *a decoration for my tree* - you might get 3 Blue Tinsel *another decoration* (I'm working on putting together a list of what people got - if anyone wants to post what they got...that would be great!)

Only on the 24th of December will the gift be the same for everyone.*

On Sundays and the 24th - instead of receiving that day's gift (Whatever it might be) - you might instead win a Divine. *Which Divine is unknown, but speculation has it that it is the new Red Falabella (his name is Liten - which is Swedish for Small. His perk is the same as all other Falabellas)

If you can not log in one day to open a door - you can pay 10,000e *this is the same regardless of your reserve* to open a missed door (if you log in that day - the doors are free to open)

You can not open a door ahead of its day (so you can't open the door of the 24th on the 19th for example)

*Though the gift on the 24th will be the same for everyone - not everyone will get the Divine on this date!



So, it's guaranteed that you'll get a Divine in that promo.

Some of the decorations are really hard to get (we're trying to get them to make it a bit easier) and if you hoard decorations and wait until the 24th/25th, it depends if there's time enough to get the Divine tree back without paying any passes. Otherwise, it's going to be a minimum of 5 passes per divine.

The christmas promo sounds great, maybe I'm thinking a little far ahead but is there any indication of what promo we'll get around new years? Is there a traditional promo held around this time or does Ow like to mix things up a little bit!?

Maybe it's a glitch or maybe it's because of the genetic changes.

The Advent Calendar will start before the Tree Decorating promo. You can find decorations for the Tree Decorating promo by opening door on your Advent Calendar

Foundies no longer come at 350 GP. October 22nd a rolling gain was set in motion, so foundies GP are on the rise. November 19th I got a Brumby foundie with 530 GP.

No, there's a chance;

From the 1st to the 23rd - what gift you get is random, so you might not get the same gift as someone else on the same date;

Date --- Player 1 gift --- Player 2 gift

1st --- 3x Plain Red Bauble --- 3x Red Tinsel
2nd --- 1x Medusa's Blood --- 3x Heart
3rd --- 3x Blue Tinsel --- 1x Apollo's Lyre
...
15th --- 500x Oat --- 500x Oat
...
24th --- 1x 5th Element --- 1x 5th Element

So while there might be days when a few people get the same gift. The only date this is guaranteed to happen *assuming one does not get the Divine instead* is the 24th.

Each Sunday during the Advent Calendar (So the 6th, 13th, and 20th) there's a chance to win a Divine instead of whatever normal gift you might have gotten that day. On the 24th - there will also be a chance to win the Divine instead of the normal gift that day.

Again - in regards to Sales, we don't know what the future holds.

All Sales events have been happening with little to no warning.

Yes - the Solars, Winds, and Wilds have all had a sale...and Yes, there were notes stating it would be the last time they would be offered via that method. But - anyone who has been aorund on Howrse for a long time will tell you 'last time' or 'never' does not always mean 'last time' or 'never' (Winged Unicorns anybody? default smiley :p)

So in theory there's a chance - but as I said, we have no way of knowing for sure.

Though something that occurred to me when typing this is that there's also a chance we might see a few other Water Divine mares pop up in the Sales -though they did already have a sale;

In the upcoming Tree Decorating Promo - Snow and Frost are Prizes in the Divine Forest.

Snow can reproduce with Mist to produce Ocean.
Ocean can then reproduce with Frost to give birth to Snowflake.
Snowflake in turn breeds with Cascade to give one Geyser.
Geyser breeds with Rain to produce Cloud.
Cloud reproduces with Dew to produce Wave *and Brook - if you own all other Waters*

I can't help but wonder if this might also mean we'll see Mist and Cascade pop up in the Sales again.

i hope dew put in resarve sales that dident have resarve sale when water divines where resarved in sales before i would buy her for sure if they put her in resarve sales thats only breedble female water one i dont own

And looking in the Directories - the last Dew I find was born in the first week of February of 2015...which corresponds to the time her run as a Divine in the Titan's Challenge (though I can't recall if this was as a stand-alone run OR if this was during the time of the original Great Challenge)

So this is a possibility...but again, no guarantees.
