I have a feeling that once the P.Promo starts, a divine will be released in the HOPs. Knowing howrse they'll do that, so they can get more profit. I'm gonna save my HOPs for that since I have a hunch about it.

I've been saving for 2 weeks now and I'm already at 24 and more on the way

Okay, so now that I've completed the P_ and seen some additional information first-hand;

This time around - HOPs give A LOT more points than they have in the past. The following is the average number of points I received based on 5 HOPs used for each Pinata:

Pinata number: Points received in hops (average points)

Pinata 4: 15, 12, 16, 16 (14 points)
Pinata 5:15, 18, 13, 12, 16, (14 points)
Pinata 6: 33, 31, 31, 29, 26 (30 points)
Pianta 7: 35, 27, 28, 26, 34 (30 points)
Pinata 8: 28, 25, 29, 35,(28 points)
Pinata 9: 50, 59, 61, 50, 52, (54 points)
Pinata 10: 69, 59,52,70, 61, (62 points)
Pianta 11: 59, 57, 59, 50, 50, (55 points)
Pinata 12: 102, 108, 110, 113, 139 (110 points)
Pinata 13: 129, 137, 115, 125, 119 (125 points)
Pinata 14: 102, 140, 125, 138, 112 (123 points)
Pinata 15: 279, 273, 201, 237, 262, (250 points)
Pinata 16: 251, 251, 275, 234, 242, (250 points)
Pinata 17: 279, 269, 201, 262, 228 (247 points)
Pinata 18: 496, 428, 448, 512, 420 (460 points)
Pinata 19: 522, 500, 536, 526, 468 (510 points)
Pinata 20: 542, 525, 559, 493, 558 (535 points)

With these numbers, I went back and re-ran my calculation about waiting to use HOPs until the last day of the Event. I now come out to the lowest I've gotten yet on Pass useage with just 24 HOPs.

I have to agree with Spyder though that you will save some further Passes/HOPs if you opt to buy a few mace blows early on (ex. your pinata is stuck at 47/50)

Somehow, I doubt that. I don't ever recall a time when something like this has happened. That's not to say its not a possibility - but it just seems a bit unlikely given how the P's work with HOPs;

HOP Points do NOT carry over from one Pinata to another...In addition, HOP points are not stored. What I mean by that is this;

You open a hop and get the message that your Pinata 16 has broken.
Rather than go to the Pinata page and cliam your gifts - you continue opening HOPs.
You will NOT get points from the HOPs towards Pinata 17 until you go to the page, and claim your gifts from 16 so that it switches to showing 17.

I can see a lot of players doing just that, then complaining they didn't get their Pinata points.

Wandering Horses are a race of feral horses that go from player to player offering gifts during a designated promotion.
In order to win a Wandering horse and the prize that comes with it, you must collect points by completing missions. When you get 100 points, the horse becomes yours for five days! Wandering horses were part of an old promotion.

I have been wondering for awhile but is their a trick with Xanthos to get HOPs? I do my strokes each day, five times a day and in all my time here have not won a single one. default smiley :(

No, it is just random.

If you can find one that is not visited much, i think you can have better chances.

That may be my problem then, I visit a top players page with all the links to the clickable divines. Thanks, Katie!!

Hmm I'm really wondering what's going to come after the Legendary set is done.. old divines in promos? Long break until another promo? New set of divines? I'm excited to find out!

Considering they have the Golden fleece I'm getting the feeling we're not going to see Divines in HoPs.

I don't really know how that happens but I think it got fixed (you don't see people's pages now) and I have exceptional luck with it. The best time was when I got 2 HoPs a day!
