I, personally , didn't really see the point for the Great Challenge. I know promotions don't really have a purpose and are just for fun but I didn't understand the GC. I know this probably isn't the place to post this but is anyone absolutely sure it will be coming back. I though Howrse took it down and it wasn't coming back. I know that promotions are kinda unpredictable sometimes when coming out but I am just curious for the Great Challenge.

I don't know why - but Ilove promos. I don't spend anything but still get a bunch of cool stuff. I miss the promo...

Personally I loved the GC... There was a cap of spending on the promotion that absolutely guaranteed you got the divine after spending x amount of money and it was always predictable as to what you should be stocking up on. Like HoPs or TCs.

I also felt like I got more bang for my buck with a lot of the divines that came out with it.

I guess I just never really tried with it...no offense but it just wasn't my cup of tea. If or when it comes back I would be interested in trying it out properly though!

I thought it was rather annoying (I never got the divines anyway, unless they were actually useful, most of which were not) so I didn't spend anything on it or make a point of participating. If I happened to complete the daily objectives, yay, I get free stuff. But I always thought aimlessly completing nearly the same objectives every day become rather tedious. Maybe this time it will be better.

Also, the fact that the divines they offered through it also offered horseshoes really bugs me. If you didn't get those divines then you basically had no chance of being in the top 10, unless you were really good about comps and objectives. I saw pretty much the same people being in the top 10 every time. Not begrudging them for that – if you bought the divines and also participated in everything else, then that's completely fine – but the whole horseshoe aspect of the divines kind of put a damper on it for me.

I agree completely with you Serpentine! The GC became somewhat boring to me and I just wouldn't participate in it either, I caught a few Horseshoe tokens but I never really completed any objectives on purpose.

I haven't caught any horseshoe tokens yet today so I can't contribute to the topic about that but I'm sure it must be the next promotion to come out. If not then there must be something that's glitched out from the tests and affected Howrse. I am not a test player so I am not sure.

Also, does anyone know what the Legendary horses look like or what assets they have to the game?

Yeah, I think they posted pictures a couple pages back. They're actually really nice looking.

You can try looking back a few pages, I think I saw an image of one or two last night.

I'm pretty sure that info is a few pages back as well - if it's not a future promo then maybe it will be offered through one.

I'd heard it was the breed given for one of the L____ H____, and that it was appearing in directories as a glitch. I'm sure we won't be having any new breeds for a while though, we've just had three in a couple of months.

The Legendary horses trophy has now disappeared actually as has the breed scroll on the covering page displaying the Mongolian horse and Legendary horse.

It's a spoiler because it's not an official part of Howrse yet. They seem to be a new type of divine. If you look back a few pages, some people have more details about the first one to eventually be released.
