Can you hold the Altair tack in your inventory past the promo and apply it to a horse at a later date or are you stuck with horses of the current top skill sets? I could see myself holding the tack off to the side until drafts improve further as a breed then apply it to one of them.


I've not found anything to indicate if you are able to hold it in reserve or not;

Part of me thinks it won't be possible - another part of me thinks it might be to account for players who might not have a chance to get them all at first

It says that if you're not eligible for a VIP subscription you'll become eligible owning Altair, does that only apply to that 24 hours bonus he gives you, or you will be able to buy the VIP account yourself just by owning him even if you were never eligible before? (Never bought 100 passes, not ranked in the top 50 etc)


Way I see it;

You get a 24 hour Trial (Howrse has done these before without players needing to qualify for the VIP account). Once your 'trial' ends - you will not be able to buy the VIP account unless you qualify for it.

Assuming nothing has changed with the Lottery - Passes will only help you get more tickets, they won't mean you get better prizes. You'll also need to use Passes to purchase the Golden Fleece to win Altair's Tack - as these sell for 2 passes each, you are looking at a minimum of 10 passes if you win a piece of tack each time (5 tack items x 2 passes per try = 10 passes)

Here's a shot showing all 5 boards and the location of Keys, Gifts, and Objective challenges are. Apologies this is in French and for the red lines on these images (they show the most 'direct' route to navigate a board BUT as moving is heavily based on luck when rolling (ex. rolling a 3 when a 3 is the only good move you can make) - it's best to just take them as a guideline and not follow them exactly as some points have more than one option you can roll to move to.

Not yet - Preprod has not yet started for International. Equideow (French) tends to have their session a few days before us [allows times for Translation and major bugs to be found] - and then we get ours. As they only just started within the last few days...I'd say expect ours to start within the next week or so.

Which one are they testing, if you know, the GC or SR? I don't remember seeing anything about SR testing, just SR info.

If the information we have has been interpreted right;

The horse you give the 5 Tack items to will take on Altair's image - but the skills of the horse will be double what the horse's skills are.

Ex. the horse you transform has the following Skill set:

Stamina: 200
Speed: 100
Dressage: 230
Gallop: 120
Trot: 50
Jumping: 100

As Altair - his skills would be:

Stamina: 400
Speed: 200
Dressage: 460
Gallop: 240
Trot: 100
Jumping: 200

But the downfall to this is - once a horse is given a piece of Altair's tack - it will no longer be able to be sold. When your horse transforms - it will also lose any Black Market items it has on it (so Nyx Packs, Morpheus' Arms, Golden Apple, etc) but it will gain/keep its Philosopher's Stone. If the horse is registered in the Grand Prix - the entry for it will be canceled.

In the case of transforming a Stallion - any unaccepted coverings the horse has out there will be canceled. For a mare in Gestation - she will lose the foal. *It is unknown at this time what will happen in the Family tree of offspring from a horse who is transformed into Altair*

**It is also unknown if the loss of Grand Prix entry, and coverings/foals applies only to a horse who makes the full transformation - or if the same applies to a horse wearing only 1 piece of Altair's tack. Either way - choose carefully which of your horses you wish to transform. (Myself, I'm personally just going to pick one of my random 'trophy' horses - I don't really care about the skills of my Divines)

GC and the Legendaries is what is being tested - the S_ R_ testing happened shortly after we finished testing for the Underwater Excavations (indeed, S_ R_ testing only just wrapped up about 2 weeks ago) *and all the S_ R_ info came from testing/memories of the Magic Ride (as they are basically the same event just different graphics)

That would be one possibility, they could also make a new VIP perk, increase the chance of getting a unicorn, or other possibilities.
I think it would be great if they came out with unicorn draftsdefault smiley :d

That would be a possibility. Already we have a Divine that allows extra foals, but as of right now, I wouldn't hold my breath for too long on it.

Well, I take that back. There is currently a Divine that offers 1 extra cover to Donkeys as a VIP perk. However, as the chance is 1 in 5 for unicorns, it would have to allow for an additional 2. Yet you still have that chance of all those covers failing.

So...iff I turn a skiller into a Altair... it will be a monster? XD
Skillers easly have 2000+ skills in their top skill this day... so that kind of horse would have 4000+ skills if turned into Altair Right?

Shortly before preprod goes live (this is usually in the morning by my time) - VIPs will have the banner appear on the main page for them to click to secure themselves a spot on testing. If a VIP misses the banner - they will need to wait like everyone else and hope they receive an invite PM.

There are no requirements to be chosen to be a tester - you just need to be lucky (as the Admins choose all sorts of players - new and old, top breeder and just-for-fun, Pass buyers and non-pass buyer, etc).

If the information found has been right - yes. Just keep in mind that;

a Horse turned into Altair would then be like any other Divine (so only able to compete in one regular comp. or Divine only comps. So the skills would no longer matter in the big picture of things (As Divines can't be used for the Prix and the like)

My mars has over 8600 skills and is not even close to the top of its game....default smiley (lol)
