Yep the only reason I got Red and am one card away from Cool Carrot is because I had extra iTunes cards from Easter. :P

Lucky!
I've spent about $35 worth of phone credit on the cards and I am still 4 diamonds short of receiving both divines. Fingers crossed I somehow get them before the promo ends!

Anyway, back to the piñatas. I'm gonna try my best but if it's absolutely impossible to get the clicks without spending an obscene amount of passes, I'm not participating. Won't be able to anyway if I'm only on for a couple hours per day. Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to get Shiny Yellow in sales

default smiley (lol) What? It used to be easier to get the divines? I'm sorry but no, the earliest divines on the game were ONLY obtainable by spending real life money on the game, unless you were that lucky player (1) that won whatever promo. (Cowbra, harlequins, snow) .

Yes it is hard to get them, but no it is NOT impossible. I have not spent real money on this game and I hardly breed or sell what I have on here anymore. How do I get the illusive divine if I want it? I save up, for MONTHS. Any hops I get are hoarded away and I age all 10 pass horses every month and squirrel away those passes until the day I see a Divine being offered that I would find useful for my game. You just need to be patient and not worry about completing every promo, unless you are spending real life money on the game it would be highly unlikely to do so anyways unless you have a very successful game and sell horses for passes regularly.

And they still do occasionally make it very easy to get a divine, I have an Emerald and Skinfaxi that I did nothung to obtain other than play the promos, no extra hops/passes or whatever used because they were not divines that would improve my game so I didn't need/want to spend extra getting them.

My advice is to stop complaining that it's not easy, life is not easy or 'fair', and spend a good amount of time saving up so that when the RIGHT divine for your game comes along you can get it. I have missed ones I wanted before because I didn't have enough saved up at the time they were released but oh well, there will always be more. And btw, all this comes from a player who started in highschool and had a very successful game then.

It is possible to complete the event without spending a single pass - but incredibly difficult as it basically requires one to have 24 hour access to Howrse to make the clicks (especially when clicks are very close together)

My plan with them is this:

Click to display
Get as far as I can without spending Passes/Diamonds. When the first 'extra points' event comes up (as there is usually two or three of these) - I'll use any HOPs that I have in my Inventory (as Piñata points come in HOPs) for a small boost. After that - it'll be back to regular clicks.

If I am close to winning the Divine (For the sake of this - I'll call Piñata 18 close as there is only 3 piñatas left after that) by the time another points event starts - then I might start using my Diamonds (and Passes as a last resort) if I feel the chance is high that I'll be able to win him.

If I feel my chance is not high, or I'm too far behind - I'll simply just continue on with my regular clicks and not use any Passes/Diamond and wait for another chance to get Yellow.

I agree, it is very possible but unfortunately not very possible for me. I only have full access to howrse on weekends, and will not lose sleep over clicking on pinatas! I've been stroking Xanthos for days now, all 5, and haven't gotten any HOPs so saving up has been tough. And any Hermes Staff have gone towards Nyx Packs for blupping.

I agree. I have never bought passes but I still have a Pegasus account and 8 divines. What I do is get those precious 10 passes every month and that reserve pass. I have school so whenever I have a holiday, I age horses for the upcoming months. I have exams in a month and right now I have spring vacation so what I did was age 10 passhorses for that month so I have more time to revise.

default smiley (lol) That's true.
Does anyone know if we've got any events coming up that might ask you to take the P-Stone off your horse as an objective? I've got a few horses that have P-Stones on them and I'd like to take them off and use them as pass horses!

When is the next GC likely to be? And will the divine be in HoPs or TCs? I really cant remember what the last divine was in, and I'm not sure whether I should just keep my HoPs for then or whether I will have time to save up again.

Considering what Ow posted in the test server the GC may be a big question mark.

It's understandable that this may be a little unpleasant but the aim is to allow you to have a working perk once we do the modification on the great challenge.
If we do the modifications and leave the divines as they are their perk becomes moot.
If there are no longer any great challenges or if their frequency changes then the fact that the divines allow you to get horseshoes isn't much of a perk. Hence why we are changing them so that they offer something regardless of what the great challenge does.

I am interested in just what will be coming up and changes.

._. My opinion Howrse should start being fair to its players, it used to be easier for players who cannot buy passes or be online all the time to win divines. Now its all, either pay or no prize.

There are plenty of ways to earn passes and to finish some promos without even using passes. If it were easy for everyone to earn divines then they wouldn't be special anymore and promos wouldn't earn howrse extra money.

1. Well said, very well said.

2. Yes it's hardish to get divines, but too add to what mustang said, it's a lot easier than it used to be, and actually it's not that hard at all, while granted the only divines I have won directly from the promo they were handed out in were some wilds and my midas, the others are quite easy o get If you save your passes and work for them, the direct sales when there are put in them are the best way to get them if you can't win them directly from the promo it's self.

But that's just my take on it, I don't wish to offend anyone.
So ive been stalking the fourms waiting on conformation of the draft breeds. Last time they introduced the new coats, they were out at least a month before they changed them. From my understanding the drafts come out in may and I still havent seen anything about them. other then no one knows anything.

Are the drafts being pushed? Are they still coming?

Maybe, like they have already done with a few new changes, Howrse will just "let them loose" without Testing them or something? (Just a thought)

According to the Time Line - they are still set to be released sometime in May:

Draft horses

These new features will be released in May
Two draft horse breeds are added to the game!

Draft horse breeds work in the same manner as donkeys, meaning they can breed three times in their lifetime.
They behave the same as other horses (BLUP, competitions, training...).
Mission earnings are twice the earnings of a regular horse: they earn twice as many skill points, twice as many Equus and bring twice as many resources or Equus to the equestrian center.
Players can submit creations for draught horses in the creative space.

My guess is that;

Click to display
A new test session will start up towards the end of the Month that has the Drafts in it, so we can learn how they will be added to the game - and also test how they work.

After that testing is done, there will be a break for a few days where any final bugs are worked out - and then they'll be added sometime in May (my guess is probably around the Middle or End of the month)

Yes this is so true. It used to be very difficult to get divines/wilds/specials and now even I have one, and I am the worst at saving up passes/hops, ect.
