Almost certainly it'll be left as Cachelot, which isn't a problem since people can easily look up what animal it is and they're technically known as that in English as well.

I just think it's funny that this isn't the first instance. "If I had a nickel for every time Howrse released a pinata animal with an English name that's banned on their website, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice." default smiley xd

Sea otter, yes. default smiley :) The theme seems to be marine mammals. The long body looks like a river otter to me, but I'm pretty sure "loutre de mer" translates to sea otter and it'd fit with the rest of them. Someone with better French can correct me if I'm wrong, though.

He's a divine. You could just wait for him to be featured in Ascent. Even it you don't play it frequently, with less than 200 frags ro gain, it should be a piece of cake.

Another option is to get a notebook and pen and write it down as you go.
However, it's up to you. Some people see it as playing dirty while others use it every time. Just depends on your comfort level and competitive spirit.

Are the Greyfells worth the passes in the long run?
Has anyone done the math on this?

If you just use Pandora's Boxes you get for free (event prizes, luck items, other divines you own), which is what I do, then you're not actually losing passes with the revival.

If you mean, is the 700+ price worth the passes you get and are excluding collecting, it'll take a couple of years for him to pay back those 700+ passes. I just let my Greyfell die naturally without speeding the process up at the 30 day, so my does live longer than 30 days. Even if you give him the boot at the 30 day mark that's only 20 passes per 30 days.
However, most any divin you get is going to take months to years to pay you bak the cost, unless you find it within just a couple luck items

I don't factor the 20k equus prize into the value, but you can if you wish

I do not much like the Ascent personally, but that would be great and all...i just wish i had some idea of when that would happen. I could be waiting a while sigh. I'm actually hoping to get a pack offer for him soon!default smiley *-)

If you have another male Greyfell, the female brings you twice as many passes, so I calculated with 40 passes for them.

So I counted (in a calc program) a minimum of 852 days for the female, and 1131 days for the male to get your passes back. This is ~2.3 years for the female, and ~3.1 years for the male. IF they die after 30 days and you revive them immediately with pandoras box that you got for free.
If it is 40 days for the 20 passes, we're up to 3.1 years for the female and 4.1 years for the males.

This all sounds kinda long, but it's almost the same like Pluto for example, from the last Black Friday. Also, you don't really have to take care of them.

I'm glad I got on here and saw the questions and answers to the Greyfell question. The first time I looked at my reserved sales, the 4 Greyfell were all male. I saw that someone had bought a female, so I got back on reserved sales and there was my female! I went ahead and bought her since I already have a male. default smiley (7)

We can only guess why we get a HoP offer during the week.

Might be due to all the sales going on over the weekend...or he was forgottendefault smiley (lol)
