Howrse - Howrse

It's hard to believe that I've been playing this game for 15 years now! So much has changed in the game over the years. I remember the original coats for the horses. I'd say the current coats are much better than the originals. For a time, I was playing rather competitively. During my early years of play, I met a player whom I had grown somewhat close to and we would help each other get our comps going. He couldn't get his going for awhile. He bred a lot of horses a few of which I have from his collection. One of them was a Christmas gift. Such a nice guy. We would always have some interesting conversations. He was a talker. During our conversations, he told me that he worked around horses and if I remember correctly, he would warm up racing thoroughbreds. Sadly he passed away some years ago. He will be missed. Another player I grew to like a lot I don't see her anymore. I've tried reaching out to her a few times through the game, but received no response. I don't even remember the last time we've spoken. It was so long ago. I do know that she and her husband ran a cattle ranch and had two young boys which no doubt are much older now. Not sure what happened. Perhaps things have gotten rather busy for her, but then who knows? Some people stop playing for a time and eventually come back. I did. I only hope she and her family are okay.
