Hi,

I live in the southern part of Louisiana. I have been riding horses since I was two. Of course, that was with my father on the horse. Until I turned eight, I had to share with everyone else's horses. Then my father bought me my first horse. A little disappointed since it was a Shetland. But, unfortunately, he was a big horse in his heart and being a stud certainly didn't help. But ever since then I have had either my own horse or working at stables. I started conditioning horses for competition at the age of 23 and have been doing one thing or another with horses since then.At this time I don't have a horse, but I have been looking the last year. I always have a very personal relationship with my horses and sometimes it makes it hard to find one. When I see it, I will know. The last horse I had was a brown bay mare named Tagssilvermoon. I am new to this game but, as soon as I can figure out how to put a picture of her here, I will. I miss her. She was the best friend I ever had. Her sire was Top Moon AAA; he was a well known race horse. She was also related to Top Deck and Moon Lark. Tags didn't race although she could have but, I didn't want to ruin her. She did turn out to be an all around horse though. She did western pleasure, english, dressage, cut cattle, halter, and jumping. She loved working, especially halter classes. I always said she was conceded and it gave her a chance to show herself off. Her favorite thing to do was to play chase with me in the arena. She was also great for teaching kids how to handle horses. Thank God she was smart enough to know wrong from right. Teaching children to lead a horse from on the side was almost impossible sometimes. They always ended up under her head or neck but, she never walked on them.

I've been playing this game for 16 years now. A lot of changes through the years. I've tried playing other horse games while playing howrse but nothing compares so I'll be here for the duration.

I really miss not being around horses. I actually miss their smell and the sting on my face by the swish of their tail. I miss hearing their hooves hitting the ground, the munching of hay.
