Sandy Springs ranch is originally a Girl Scout funded riding facility where I spent several summers and a few autumn visits learning to care for Quarter Horses. It is located just off of a well known Girl Scout camp-Kawani- located in the south west portion of Tennessee. It has been many-many years since those wonderful childhood days. All the horses I knew are already in horse heaven. But they forever live in my heart, as do the fond memories of my time there. I am a grown up now with a family of my own and I live in a city, so I do not own any horses. On this site, I pretend that I own a ranch with a lot of lush and fertile meadows where my horses and ponies romp and play. When ever I buy a horse or pony, they usually are with me until their last days. I sometimes do send them to Safe Haven once they hit 30,which by the way
should not be seen as a bad place. It is
not a Slaughter House- Safe haven is an immense meadow where horses live happily ever after. I really enjoy Howrse and I'm glad to be a small part of it. Should you take an interest in my breeds then please just drop me a letter and I will see about contacting you. Be aware I may not log in every day -but I do whenever I can. Please come into the Home Ranch and make yourself at home. There is fresh soft batch cookies, fresh lemonade, some Hazelnut coffee setting out on a large cherry oak welcome table and there is a large wooden swing out on the porch. Want to do a nature trail, we have several good ones, a few pass right next to some of our finest meadows. Enjoy the wild flowers, we have plenty, including a field of pure lavender.
MMM. We are currently breeding different types of horses and ponies. Should you pass by and see the ponies roaming, just call out to them, chances are they will come running, they love attention
*wink* Each meadow has its own private pond, should you wish to venture there please be careful where as I have a collection of Koi and frogs dwelling in the area.
