ABOUT ME

I played the OG howrse about 16 years ago as mt frost. Life happened and my account was deleted due to being inactive. I rejoined the international platform and created a USA account as well about 5 years ago, both of which have also been deleted because life got busy. I'm an adult player now trying to learn the new platform. It's wild to see how much has changed from 16 years ago to now. I tend to doomscroll facebook or instagram so figured why not rejoin howrse and see what's what. Actually attempted to half create my own html code for a profile layout, probably more excited than I should be that it actually worked.                                                                                                                      As the name might imply, I'm working on becoming a homesteader. My husband and I just purchased a few acres in the countryside in the USA. I grew up showing and raising livestock, but am excited to be able to have more free reign over what I raise and how I raise it. Have been canning and gardening, and looking forward to expanding that knowledge. My husband and both have wildlife/biology degrees and want to create pockets of native wildflowers and wildlife habitat on our property.                                                                                          I do have two of my own horses, and my dream is to adopt a mustang filly or mare in the future. I need to build fences and outbuildings for my own horses and bring them home before I get ahead of myself though. LGBTQ+ and agnostic. Learning about plants I can use homeopathically while also advocating for modern medicine when necessary (naturopathic leaning).                                                                If you've made it this far, congrats haha. MY HOWRSES
My goal is to breed higher GP and skilled KWPNs from my original mare as well as improve the breed as a whole. I've been getting a lot of colts born and while I'd like to have that many fillies I've decided to embrace them and raise a few into great studs. I am also starting a crosbred program with the goal of breeding rosette winners with high GP and versatility. Horses that I do buy are typically renamed to a combination of names from the mare's and stud's sides. Very rarely do I keep the same name for the horse I purchase, unless it comes with a regular name (AKA not M26,574BP etc names that refer to GP or skills) or name created by mashing both lineages together. I'm working on collecting golden apples, and none of them are/will be for sale - please do not ask about buying them. Do feel free to send me messages to reserve coverings from my studs or asking to purchase KWPNs at 2705 GP and below (without golden apple coats).
