My Howrse Story
Hi! I'm Jax/Jaxie! I've returned to Howrse for what seems like the umpteenth time for the nostalgia and to heal the inner child. I originally joined Howrse around 2012 or 2013 under the account name "shushu" (that account with the same one avatar of a roborovski dwarf hamster with a white background that I didn't change for like 5 years lol, if you remember me be sure to lmk! I would love to reconnect with all the friends I made back then <3) I would spend hours on Howrse every day back then, and I accumulated around 1,000+ days of seniority on my original account. My specialty and focus was definitely on horse collection as my goal back then was to collect every breed of horse and each coat variation I could then move onto collecting as many species as I could. I also liked making graphics/edits and signatures for my friends and other players to use as their avatars and on their profile pages as profile decorations. I used to run a free bi-weekly pm newsletter that I think I called the Howrse Tribune/Howrse Reporter or something that'd I'd send out to anyone who signed up on my forum and I'd get other players to guest-write columns for it, so if you remember that, ayee! One of my favorite things to do used to be roleplaying in player's rp forums as it was a hobby I discovered, practiced, and got into because of Howrse, so there's a chance I was probably creating characters and roleplaying in your forum! When I got a bit older I ended up becoming inactive on Howrse for a while, so I unfortunately lost my original account and all my horses and everything I collected on that account </3 I returned off and on about tthree more times under the account name "Jungkookie" the second time, the account name, "Zeldarian" the third time, and most recently under the account name, "Tartaglia" I was never very active so each account would subsequently get purged for inactivity, so now I'm back on hopefully my final/permanent new account I intend to keep active and take care of this go around. I think each account made it to 80-90 days of seniority haha but if you remember me under any of those names that was also me! I also had an account on the Spanish server of Howrse under the name "shushu" as well several years ago. It was also purged because of inactivity, but I might open one on that server in the future. I met so many people thanks to Howrse and developed so many new skills, hobbies, and interests because of this lovely site and all the talented and creative people in this community. Thanks to Howrse, I discovered roleplaying, got into that community, and improved both my creative writing skills & my English. I was missing this place so much, so it's so good to be back and I hope to stay this time. I used to be a f2p player since I was a child at the time, so this go around I'm treating myself to a few purchases here and there to improve my game. This time around I plan to focus on horse breeding quality, prestige ranking for my center, and competitions.

I haven't had any horses of my own & I haven't taken formal riding lessons or entered competitions irl, I've only ridden my friend's family horses & a few horses at a center that has since closed down, but I have always adored horses since those experiences growing up, so Howrse has given me the opportunity to vicariously live out my dreams with competing and owning horses that I wouldn't have otherwise.
