Howrse - Howrse

4-29 update: I only really log on to participate in events, play Ascent of Olympus, and take care of my divines and mustangs. My time and motivation has unfortunately not kept up with the amount of horses I've accumulated, and getting left behind current GP levels is of course a little discouraging. I've stopped congratulating for now so I don't feel the need to keep logging in to make sure I don't miss anyone, and if I feel like getting back into breeding like I was before, it probably won't be for awhile. Consider me dormant for the foreseeable future lol.

I primarily breed thoroughbreds under my ⋞ʙᴇᴛᴡᴇᴇɴ ᴇᴀʀᴛʜ & sᴋʏ⋟ affix, BLUPing and breeding from my starter mare up to my top rosette winners. I splurge and buy passes very rarely, mostly to pay for customization BM items (because pretty = more fun lol); the vast majority of my bonus/optimization items etc come from events.

Besides TBs, I've also become interested in branching out to the showjumping competitive scene, and thus my Selle Français horses, ᛃƬҥє Ąʟıғєʀɵᴜȿᛃ, are now up and running. I also have a casual and slow-growing Mustang lineage with the affix ∾Ɱѳmԑnȶᵴ ᶥᶯ Ƭιmԑ∾; I name each foal after something that is special or exciting to me at that moment.

One aspect of Howrse that I really enjoy is the option to have a more independent and relaxed playstyle that's more or less on my own schedule (besides the slightly daunting, ever-increasing GP levels of the breeds I work with lol), and because of that I don't really plan on connecting with the community as much or adding friends. I do congratulate around a bit/congratulate back whenever I'm online and enjoy reading other people's presentations, but not much else for now!

It's been over a decade since I last played (I played well before then too), and although I do miss my old deleted accounts, I've been having a great time starting from scratch again and making new memories with this game~
