About me My name is Mia and my pronouns are she/her. I've been on and off Howrse since 2010. I'm in my early 20s and I'm a Capricorn sun, Scorpio moon, and Libra rising! I'm very into astrology and I love learning more about it. I have a Bachelor's degree in music with a concentration in classical performance. As of right now, I'm interested in working with horses, so that is what I do for work. I've been wrangler at my job for two and a half years now. I only have two pets currently — a cinnamon pied ball python named Wendell and a gargoyle gecko named Gigi. I love reptiles, dogs, cats, and horses (of course) and I hope to someday fill my home with them. I love music and my favorite band is an indie/folk band called Pinegrove (hence my username and profile picture). I generally listen to all types of music including pop, rap, country, rock, R&B, punk, emo, and reggaetón. In my free time I enjoy reading (Harry Potter at the moment), playing video games (RDR2 for life) and binging my favorite shows/movies (likely anything Bo Burnham related). About horses The horse pictured above is named Houston. He has many, many nicknames that I've given him but we'll call him Huey to keep it simple. Huey is a 25 year old Quarter Horse gelding. Unfortunately I cannot call him my own, but I've had the pleasure of meeting him and working with him at my job. Huey and I lead trail rides together five days a week, year-round, and in nearly all types of weather. He has certainly taught me so much about horsemanship and I wouldn't be the rider I am today without him. He holds a special place in my heart and he deserves the world. Below I intend to put more pictures of Huey as well as a few other horses that have had a significant impact on me and my life. As for the game, I'm currently working on a bunch of different breeds at once, but mostly I'm focusing on breeding unicorns and higher GP Thoroughbreds. My two biggest goals are to breed at least one horse of every breed and to complete the classic coats collection. It will likely take me some time to figure all of that out, so if anyone has any advice on the quickest path to success in this game, I will gladly take it! |
