11-16-24 Clifton Cowboys last night! A bright light during some depressing times for me. Got to have a nice chat about life with one of my favorite people in the world too. Maybe I can get out of this rut.

Welcome to my page
^^James Dean
On the game I'm trying to log on and care for all my unfinished horses, most days, if I have time. I am breeding unicorns more, but need to cut back a little. When I have time try to produce better Mustang's in my "Ricky Nelson" affix. All names are after Ricky Nelson songs.
I collect Pre-CS GA coats. I also collect horses from 2007-2010. If you want to get rid of any, feel free to reserve, for a reasonable price. I try to finish all training on all horses, including 'Oldies'.
Item Exchange I offer 1 horn of plenty for 2 golden apples. I am also always looking for medusas blood, and fertility wands. Generally the same trade, 1 horn of plenty for 2. Though you can PM me and we can negotiate. Feel free!
My retired tab, are horses that are fully trained, or are too old to continue getting cared for without losing skill, or both. Matthew and Son is horses doing rides, A Dogs Life are horses training and competing. Young Guns speaks for itself.
I've played on and off since 2008. My notable accounts:
Luna12 from February 9 2009 - 2013, Night Ranger from 2013- 2017, Space Trucker November 2018-2019, Good Catches Up from 2019-April 2020
I accept friend requests, and try to help during events. So feel free to send.
About Me:
I'm an adult female in my mid 20s. (How has time passed so quickly) I love the 1970s/80s and older. I usually dress 70s/80s. I’m from the USA. I work in real life, so I don't always have a lot of time. I'm also really sorry that I'm not good at getting back to people.
I really like James Dean! (We're from the same town)
I love Golden Age of Hollywood films. My all time favorite actors are Don Ameche, Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, James Mason, Rudolph Valentino. My other favorites: Charles Boyer, Tyrone Power, Richard Conte, George Raft, Fredric March, William Powell, and Buster Keaton. Also: Franchot Tone, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Leslie Howard, Robert Walker (Sr), Laurence Olivier, Dana Andrews, David Niven, and Melvyn Douglas. My favorite actresses are Joan Leslie, Jean Arthur, Carole Lombard, Vivien Leigh, Rosalind Russell, and Claudette Colbert. Would love to friend fellow Golden age enthusiasts, even if your favorite actors and actresses are different than mine!
I am a proud Lustron house owner: To those who don't know a Lustron is an all metal house built post World War II to help accommodate the housing shortage. They ended up going bankrupt and only around 2500 were built between 1947 and 1951. Now only around 1500 remain. Mine is a 1948. Currently in the process of restoring it and furnishing it with vintage 40s-60s furniture.
I love rock music of the 70s & 80s. Especially Big Star, Styx, Gowan, Night Ranger, Rooney, ELO, Lemon Twigs, and Nelson. I've seen Styx 12 times currently.
I am also in love with the current Cincinatti music scene. TasteFull, Jazz Club Drug Ring, Fat Sal, Mosant, Clifton Cowboys, Neon Caravan, Dravin and the Ravens, to name a few. I've friend's in all of these particular bands, and they are putting out AMAZING music!!!
Also recommend my friend in Cleveland's band People in the Daytime. Check any of them out, I highly recommend!!
Vinyl collector since 2011. Here's my discogs account: https://www.discogs.com/user/70s_Music_Fan
I love old cars especially 1910s-1970s.
I own a 1955 Chevy 3600 flatbed truck, 1959 Franklin Travel Trailer, 1962 Buick Skylark Convertible, 1970 Buick Skylark Custom, 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ, 1984 Pontiac Fiero 2M4.
My dream cars: 1967 Pontiac Firebird, 1946 Chevy pickup, 1957 Ford Ranchero, 1966-1974 Pontiac GTO, 1968-1971 Lemans, 1968-1973 Firebird or Trans Am. (Love Pontiac's best because I grew up with GTO's and Lemans' from 66-74)
My favorite saints: Frances of Rome (my patron saint), Gabriel Possenti ( of Our Lady of Sorrows, of the Society of the Passion) (We have the same birthday), Benedict Joseph Labre.
I'm interested in history, when it comes to the 1800s-1940s! My favorite historical figures are John C. Fremont (The Great Pathfinder), and President Ulysses S. Grant. I have also always had an interest in the Lewis and Clark expedition.
I'm an introvert, (INFP) so I'll keep to myself but you can PM me and I'll get back to you at some point unless I forget, in which case you can try again.
Past life updates below:
11-7-24 Has anyone else lost friends over the election results? I'm really sad that people can't seem to be friends with people who have a differing opinion. I simply put a story on my instagram that said Trump had won, and I said that I was happy for the results. I lost 2 people. One just unfollowed me, and the other a guy who had expressed wanting to date me (we were going to go out this week) blocked me everywhere! If anyone is on the other side I still care about you and want to be friend's. Please pray for me, the division in the US is just too much.
11-2-2024 Cinci Mock Ball was awesome last night! Especially Touch Down Jesus as Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Also made 3 new friends, and got to talk to lots I haven't seen in a while. Good times! Although I kinda wish I'd gone to the bar with the gang after.
10-31-2024 Cinci Mock Ball tomorrow night. We shall see how that goes. My friend Hunter said I should. None of my favorite bands are playing but whatever I guess.
10-25-2024 Unfortunately haven't really had access to this lately. But I did see People in the Daytime twice this week. On Sunday, and last night. Last night they even played a song they hadn't played live before. So worth the 2 hour drive, even though I missed seeing Jazz Club Drug Ring for them. But I'll see People in the Daytime over Jazz Club any day honestly. Good times!
10-12-24 Saw TasteFull and Fat Sal last night, among others! The renowned drummer of Mosant sat in for Fat Sal, and his band Clifton Cowboys a pretty epic country rock group.
10-7-2024 Lemon Twigs last night was my favorite Twigs show yet! Even got a sneak peek of an unreleased new song! Plus met a sweet guy sitting behind me from another band, "People in the Daylight". Check them out, they're pretty cool!
10-5-2024 Last night saw a few bands, highly recommend 'Neon Caravan'. Sound like obscure 70s music. Zolmon's Wolfgang was quite good too. Though I couldn't find their stuff on spotify. Definitely check out Neon Caravan.
9-30-2024 Sooooo excited to see TasteFull, Fat Sal, and Jazz Club Drug Ring play in a couple of weeks!!! Haven't seen the latter two since July 5, and haven't seen TasteFull since the end of August.
9-14-2024 ELO and Rooney again last night in Cinci, except I was 3rd row!! Seeing Jeff Lynne that close is what seeing Paul McCartney that close would be to other people. And I loved the chance to see Rooney again that close. I spent too much money on the ticket and then merch. But both were soooo good! Rooney played less songs than last Saturday though, and I wish they'd play more variety. I'd love to hear "Tell Me Soon', "Calling the World", "I'm A Terrible Person", and "Daisy Duke.
9-11-2024 Remembering all those lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on Flight 93 during the 9/11 attacks on this day 23 years ago. I was very little at the time, but remember a little. My family was actually only about 20 miles outside of D.C. at the time. Prayers to all those effected, and those still suffering the effects.
9-9-2024 Anyone listen to or heard of the band Rooney? I saw them opening for ELO the other night, and they were sooo good! I'm surprised I'd never heard of them, since they've been around since 1999! And they're power pop, the genre where I know almost every band that does it. New fan right here!!
8-31-2024 Excited to see the movie 'Reagan' about Ronald Reagan tonight, starring Dennis Quaid. :)
8-30-2024 - Rat Motel and TasteFull were amazing last night! First time seeing Rat Motel. TasteFull played a few songs I hadn't heard yet, as well as Carousel which I hadn't heard live yet. Frank's tune "So Tired" is out today!! 3 hour drive is always worth it for the boys in TasteFull. Hunter is one of the greatest guy's I know.
8-4-2024 Funny I was excited about my friend's band TasteFull's new tour date and then they ended up playing the first Friday event on Friday because the original headliner pulled out at the last minute! Made my weekend! And Mosant was amazing last night! Not to mention just one of the sweetest bands, Zach the vocalist/guitarist thought I shouldn't have bought a shirt and bumper sticker because he would've given them to me. They're hoping to open for the Twigs in Cleveland in October. My fingers are crossed they get the gig!
7-30-24 So excited to see my friend's band TasteFull has a new tour date added! Ready for the end of August, seeing my other friend's band in about a week. Night Ranger Thursday, Mosant Saturday.
7-28-24 My busiest concert month ever, is finally over. Now just a handful in August. Can't wait to go to Cinci next weekend and see some of my friends, as well as the power pop band Mosant the following day.
7-23-24 Lemon Twigs tonight and tomorrow. For some reason I'm only relatively excited... Wishing life were different, I guess. I can see a lot of bands, but don't really have friends, and always feel quite alone. What friends I have seem to care very little and could care less if I never said anything again. They never would say anything again, if I didn't...
7-20-24 Night Ranger again last night. Didn't think much could happen since I didn't get that good of a seat anyway. However the guy that takes care of their social media pages saw me, and said since I go to so many shows to just let him know when I am again, and he can get me picks, and meet and greets so I don't have to pay. Yay! During the concert he came back and gave me a signed photo of the band.
7-19-24 Best Night Ranger concert I've been to last night. Front row directly in front of Jack. First off at the meet and greet he remembered me and wanted to talk a lot. He loved my vintage shirt. He sang directly to me a couple of times during the concert. I think it was during Rumors in the Air, and Sentimental Street, oh and also Come Again, and High Enough. He pointed at me many times, and winked at me. At the end he tossed me the only thumb pick he used, and before he left the stage he put his hat that he wore the whole concert on my head. Oh Eric Levy also gave me one of the drumstick's he used. Jack probably would have if Eric hadn't first but I'm happy still. Have tickets for tonight's show but man another 3 hour drive.
7-15-24 Saw Lemon Twigs opening for Lake Street Dive last night! Was amazing. Company was even better!
7-9-24 Just a recommendation, check out "TasteFull" the band. A young band with rock and blues rock roots in the 70s. 2 of the guys in it are also in my friends Ska band, and the bassist is a good friend, so I may be a bit partial. "Black Seat Cadilac" their latest single is a good start. ALSO SUNDAY I SEE THE TWIGS AGAIN!!!
7-6-24 Eight years and 1 day after the free July 4th Styx show in Blue Ash Oh, I go to see a new friend play, we get to talking about Styx, and he tells me he was at that concert!! I'm jealous! My dad wouldn't let me go to that one. Our paths would've crossed so much sooner. Back when we were 17 instead of 25.
6-29-24 Sorry for the inactivity of late! I prefer to us a PC, and the internet has been out until today! Oh well let's try and get in the swing this week! Twigs show in 2 weeks!
6-10-24 Third Night Ranger concert of 24' yesterday. Talked to Jack a bit at the meet and greet. I was front row again for the show. During the concert he kicked me his thumb pick that he used the first half of the show, also got his setlist. And 3 other picks, 1 Jack, 1 Keri, 1 "E" (Eric Levy)
The last song they did was Sister Christian, and Jack pointed towards me and smiled the last time they sang the line, "you got him in your site".
5-18-2024 Lemon Twigs concert last night was awesome!!! Got to meet Michael a couple hours before the show, and he was such a sweetheart! We got front row for the show, and I was given Brian's setlist. Afterwards I met Reza, and he was extremely nice, loved talking power pop bands of the 70s, and gave me some great recommendation's! Then met Brian and he and Danny signed my copy of "A Dream is All We Know", Brian then brought the album back to Michael to get signed. Since he wasn't sure if Michael would be coming back out. Brian was too sweet he came back and made it a point to get any albums back to people. He was so anxious about it, it was adorable. He spent time talking to us and made time for a few pictures. When we were about to leave, I saw Michael. (I was the only person who noticed) And I got to talk with him for a while longer. Gave him a vintage 70s shirt, and we got a polaroid with my 1972 SX-70 land camera. July 23 cannot come soon enough, excited to see them all again. Especially sweet Michael. So glad I caught them before the end of the spring tour.
5-4-2024 Awesome Styx show last night!! At the end Lawrence saw my Gowan shirt and threw some picks for me! He motioned for me to give him my Gowan tour program, but I wasn't thinking because he'd signed it before, and didn't hand it to him. I should've brought one of my albums, but my only thought was getting Terry to sign it. The pick Larry gave me was on of Terry's, I'm so happy! Larry's "baby brother" in the band is a great addition! Only a month and he fits great. My 2nd favorite in the band now! 13 days to Lemon Twigs.
5-1-2024 Yay, yesterday the Lemon Twigs made a tour announcement for all the shows for the remainder of the year. In the coming days I'm gonna snag my tickets for Indy, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburg, and Chicago!! Gonna see them 6 times this year counting Lexington in a few weeks!
Profile picture is currently Gunnar and Matt Nelson
4-30-2024 Even though it's not released yet so many people have already got their Lemon Twigs albums in the mail. Lol, I'm jealous. Mine is still in transit. Can't wait to hear all of what Michael and Brian have put out this time!
4-28-24 Just got back from housesitting for someone the past week, so can actually do something. Been away from a computer which is more my bag for playing here. Lol. Oh and 5 days til the Lemon Twigs new album "A Dream is All We Know" comes out.
4-24-2024 Happy 70th birthday to the extra sweet Jack Blades my favorite musician ever!!! Also just got a ticket to see the Lemon Twigs next month! The only band from the 21st century I like. Big fan of the D’addario brothers, but especially Michael. Would love to get to meet him. Fingers crossed. Their new album is out a week from Friday!!
4-17-2024 #999 in the ranking. Been a long time since I've been under 1000. Also got another front row for Night Ranger in Joliet.
4-15-2024 Scored front row first seat Jack side at a Kentucky Night Ranger show in July. Yay! Best seat in the house! Also happened to be another meet and greet.
4-13-2024 Last night was an amazing concert! Night Ranger was rocking better than ever, even pulling out tunes they haven't in years! Jack still sounds as good as the 1980s, even his yells are spot on, and he still moves around the stage just the same. He seems so young still. And I MET JACK BLADES!! Actually, the whole band, but mainly Jack, I drew him a sketch of him through the years and he wanted to get a picture just with me, and he gave me a hug. Finally met my favorite musician, and he's so so sweet. I also disagree with the consensus that he's 5' 5". He's about 5' 7" cause he's about my height. DREAM COME TRUE!! He also loved my Dam Yankees shirt, and my Midnight Madness hoodie. Lol. During the concert he pointed me out and was like "that's a classic Dam Yankees fan for you". And instead of just going into "High Enough" he whispered something to Kerri and had them do some of "Come Again" first, for me! Lol. And I thought the first time I saw them was amazing. Too bad the free show they're doing in July is the same day as a free Nelson show. Imma have to miss it.
4-11-2024 Yay, won the Gregarious coat!
4-9-2024 Anyone else devastated at the loss of CJ Snare a few days ago? :( Firehouse was my second ever concert in August 2008. They were the first band I ever met, CJ was the sweetest in the band! I was quite shy but his sweet goofy demeanor won me over. I was obsessed with concerts ever since, mainly thanks to him. The world lost a really good man, and a beautiful voice! Always hoped to see them again, but always something came up. I'm going to see Firehouse with Night Ranger in August, I thought for sure CJ would be back on the road by then, so did he. He's so missed.
4-3-2024 Yay, seeing Styx May 3. Just realized Ricky left the band, and they got Lawrence Gowan's brother Terry Gowan as the new bass player. Needless to say, so happy Larry's little brother is now in the band. So couldn't pass this up.
4-1-2024 Hope everyone had a great Easter yesterday! Still just psyched to see Night Ranger in 12 days.
3-23-24 Think I'm gonna break down and buy a meet and greet ticket for Night Ranger in 3 weeks. In my mid 20s, now my 13-16 year old self really still wants to meet Jack Blades, and it's something within my power. I've been listening to too much of their 2014 High Road, and Jack Blades 2004 album lately to not do it. Bought a meet and greet a few years ago but it was cancelled. So methinks it's time. Jack Blades helped me so much as a young teen. Seeing him in the Summer of 2014 was one of the best concert experiences. 2nd row waited all day and he spoke to me 3 times from on stage, I was the only one he directly spoke to. Made me at 15 so happy.
3-20-2024 Got some nice tickets for ELO's final tour on presale today! Can't wait til September!! Hope this isn't really the end, but so happy to finally see them anyway. Jeff Lynne is one of the greats! Most beautiful voice ever.
3-17-2024 YAY, FINALLY GOT A FEW HORSES FROM MY 2014 ACCOUNT, AND ONE FROM MY SISTERS 2009 ACCOUNT AND MY LATE SISTERS ACCOUNT! We were so young back then. I've been trying for so long but no one ever wants to sell! So happy to have found some in the sales. Now just hope someday I can find some from my original account.
1-18-24 Finally got to see Matt and Gunnar Nelson in concert! Actually the best concert I’ve ever been to! They even played a few of their dads tunes, Travelin’ Man was pretty awesome. They are two of the funniest and sweetest musicians. Been wanting to see them for 10+ years! Plan on seeing them a lot more from now on. I was always a diehard Matt fan, but after going I'm not sure but Gunnar might be my favorite.
2/19/23 My favorite deacon was at our church today, so now I'm extremely happy for the rest of the week. I hadn't seen him in about 3 years, since he was a Seminarian, and in June he becomes a priest! So exciting! So blessed to know him, and grateful to get a chance to chat with him after mass, and he hadn't forgotten me. He's only a few years older than me, so he resonates more than most priests etc.
2/18/23 I'm going to start breeding Quarter Horses on here, we'll see for how long. They are my "Electric Lights Orchestra" affix, all named after songs by the band ELO. They're probably my favorite band, who I listen to all the time, and they never get old. Kind of like so many people are with the Beatles. My trip to England next month is to Birmingham, where they're from, so that's kinda cool!
10-6-2023 5 days til the Alice Cooper concert! Lol. Probably the highlight of the year. Battle of 1812 reenactment the following Saturday
.
6/4/2023 A really big congratulations to the class of 2023!!! I'm lucky to know 3 of them. Congrats especially to, Wyatt, and Jack! 2023 has been a lot of changes for sure. Also congrats to my now favorite priest Jordan, who was just ordained yesterday!!!!
