For what it's worth I am an adult player, I think minors from the States need permission before talking to adults online, or something like that. I don't know my USA law very well but now you know.
I am from New Zealand, and am big into my racing. I never grew up with horses so Thoroughbreds were my ticket into the industry and I couldn't love the breed (and my job!) more.
