Dragon Skies
>Heyo, I'm Dragon Skies, an adult player, and I'm a chill, non-competitive player. I don't buy passes, or spend real money, I'm just here for a good time. I like the pretty horses that do horse things and so am doing a little bit of everything. I'm crossbreeding to specialize in individual stats, I'm collecting breed-specific coats, I'm working with unis, donkeys, drafts, donkey unis, ponys, horses, all of it lol. For the most part, I'm just slowly increase GP for all my bloodlines (Or decreasing in the donkey's case). If you want a private covering from a stallion, want a foal from a mare, or are otherwise interested in one of my horses, let me know. I am also open to selling Foundie Friesan foals so if you need one just give me a message (10 passes is the rate because I'm desperate for those gold rectangles).                                                                                                         Any horse/donkey/pony/draft with the affix of Dragon Ancestry is for sale, I just usually BLUP them before selling. If you see one you want (either blupped or unblupped), just message me and I'll happily reserve the sale for you. I also always have something for sale, so feel free to check them out and just know I'm usually open to negotiations as long as its fair and respectful.                                                                                                                                      I cannot guarantee I'll sell a horse of the other affixes, but I'd be open to discussions. I'd also be open to most any breeding collaboration or exchanges, especially with donkeys or drafts so if you have any interest them, let me know! Hope you're having a great day/night and thanks for visiting!
As you can probably tell, I love dragons and horses. This presentation is VERY likely going to change in the future but it does the job for now. I try to hop on pretty regularly but I make no promises and am known to vanish for weeks on end.                                                             On that note, I like to limit my friend's list to 5 or 6 pages. I try to congratulate my friends regularly and so having more than that can get overwhelming. This means that if you send me a request when I've reached that limit, I will not accept it. I'm sorry, it's not personal, it's just how I manage my account. ALSO, I will remove friends from my friends list if they haven't been on in 30 days (this of course comes with exceptions if you message me directly and ask). Again, this is just to declutter my page, it's not personal. I also understand if you remove me from your list when I vanish for a few weeks. I won't take it personally, I totally understand and appreciate you. If you are an old friend that I've removed from the list and would like to reconnect, just send me a message and I'll take care of it <3
> Tips and Tricks:                                                               I've been playing this game for a hot second now and for any new players, here's what I recommend to help yourselves out:                                                                     - Stroke 5 Xanthos everyday. If you're not getting HOP's change up what horses you're stroking. Look them up in the directories, check the box for special horses.                                                        - On that note, Stroke a Frost everyday and 5 Topaz                                                                                     - Complete your Daily Objectives, 30 passes a day can really amount to some impressive fund if you regularly keep it up. That's 210 passes a week.                                                             - Sell horses for passes. You won't make a lot of gold rectangles this way, and you will undersell a few horses, but some passes is better than no passes                                                           - Divine Horses are also serious money makers for Equus, their comps alone can make thousands of equus. Maximize on that if you can (there are exceptions to this rule).                                                                                             Breeding:                                - Always BLUP your horses before breeding if you can, it's long and tedious the returns are worth it.                                                                                   - In case you didn't know (Because I didn't for like the first seven MONTHS I played this game) you only need to train your horse in its three top skills, finish the riding, aging, and the comps for it to be considered 100 BLUP.                                                           - If you need more specific advice I highly recommend you try out the forum sections, there are a bunch of super friendly and super knowledgable people there to help you out with anything you may need                                                                                               Equestrian Center:               This sucker confused me too, but here's what I've learned                                                                                      - Don't make a bunch of boxes at once, start slow. I wait until I get a water trough and a shower before I make a box (this isn't efficient, but it's just what I do).                                                                                          - Make less than five boxes when you're first getting started so you only have to allocate two 5 acre field to pasture.                                                                                   - Always have two fields set aside for pasture, one acting as the actual pasture and the other one regaining its fertility, that way you're always offering a pasture who'se fertility is greater than 90%                                                                               - Buy up some fields when you have the funds (I started with 5 acre plots and skipped right to 25 acres once I made more money). Start growing apples and raising cows. You only have to plant apples once and they'll just keep growing forever. It's great.                                                                                     - Build some greenhouses and start growing carrots, alfalfa, flax (so much flax), and oats, on rotation. This'll take time, but having these staple goods really helped me out.                                                                                      - Carrots and apples can be sold for some quick money, the carrots can also be offered in your EC.                                                          - The flax can be used in your equestrian center as bedding OR can be made into polo wraps and ear bonnets with your workshops. It takes 5 hours and they're not worth much money, but they cost you 10 flax and if you visit Howrse twice a day to make them, you'll be chugging them out easily. I make some quick money this way. It also really helps that I don't have to buy my polo wraps or ear bonnets for my horses                                                                              - NOW, remember those cows you were raising? Well I use those suckers to build saddles, 3*** staddles. I offer them in my equestrian center AND I sell them for more serious money. I made my equestrian center retrieve steel for me to minimize equus loss BUT whatever your missions in your EC get you, maximize on that. Put a good horse of yours in there and make them do missions every day. I never have to buy iron to make saddles because I have a horse of mine do three missions a day (costing me a total of 3 aging points). Make whatever you can and sell it for those equus!!                                                         - Eventually you'll come across pass seeds. Grow. Those. You need 25 seeds, a 25 acre lot, and manure. You have to wait for the first week of fall (in game) to plant them. They give you 100 passes  for basically free. It was a game changer for me because they're given out at a bunch of events. Do it if you can.                                                        That's it for now, I'll add more when I think of it, but I hope it was helpful!
