Welcome friends! I used to play Howrse a ton when I was little- does anyone else remember when we had to pass a test about horses to gain Black Market Items??Anyways, I couldn't ride anymore due to the COVID-19 shutting down my barn so Howrse came to the rescue for my horse fix!
I've been riding since I was 9 years old. I ride English, jump and do some basic dressage. I am now old and in Graduate school studying to be a cognitive psychologist and professor!
As a teenager I owned an 18 hh Dutch Warmblood named Nicholas, and we jumped 4 foot! Unfortunately I had to sell him when I went to college across the country from my family.
As a young adult, I was a working student and groom at a lesson barn. I met my heart-horse there- a giant gray ottb named Odie who had had a really hard life and adored me as much as I adored him. Unfortunately I lost him to colic too soon (he was 11, and hadn't been in my life more than a year).
I current still ride jumpers and dressage, but at a barn near my graduate school.
Riding, grooming and horses, even not real ones, are the true loves of my life!
