1.There are sooo many different breeds of horses, which are your favorite?
I'll be honest, I've never met an animal that I didn't love but Arabians and Friesians have always held a special place in my heart.
2. Much like breeds there are many, MANY varieties of color...
I think Teke's with their metallic coloring are simply gorgeous but if we're going a more classic route I'm a huge fan of grullo, dappled grey or a red bay.
3. Favorite horse-inspired movie!
Hmm this is difficult so instead let's say that 'Secretariat' is the most recent horse-related film that I've watched.
4.Western or English?
I tend to lean toward Western since it is more comfortable in my personal opinion but I enjoy both! (Something is also to be said for riding bareback!)
5. When/where/what was your first ride?
I was very young, most likely about three and couldn't even remotely reach the reins or stirrups on my first 'ride' on this monster of a gelding (I'm unsure of heritage but I would guess at a heavy draft cross of some sort). His name was Doug and he was a gorgeous light dappley grey! I actually spent a lot of time as a child riding at the camp that I now teach!
What are my game goals?
Right now I'm just having a bit of fun but eventually I'd like to put in some work on Lusitanos, Arabians and perhaps Percheron's later down the road. Also Unicorns Unicorns Unicorns! Everyone deserves a bit of magic. I'm also becoming a collector of interesting golden apple coats. I have quite a bit of fun naming horses with coat/bg combos after books or movies.
