Aphrodite (Mare, cremello Thoroughbred) named after the Greek goddess of Love [Immortal] Said to be older than the Olympians, since she was born out of the sea from a piece of Ouranos. Roman Form: Venus
Zeus (Stallion, chestnut Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of the sky [Immortal] Roman Form: Jupiter
Poseidon (Stallion, bay Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of the sea [Immortal] Roman Form: Neptune
Hera (Mare, black Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek goddess of marriage and women; wife to Zeus [Immortal] Roman Form: Juno
Hades (Stallion, strawberry roan Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of the dead [Immortal] Roman Form: Pluto
Metis (Mare, liver chestnut Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek titaness of wisdom and knowledge
Demeter (Mare, cherry bay Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek goddess of grain and harvest [Immortal] Roman Form: Ceres
Semele (Mare, flaxen liver chestnut Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek princess that Zeus fell in love with (Hera doesn't like her for obvious reasons)
Dionysus (Stallion, liver chestnut Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of wine; by Zeus, out of Semele. [Immortal] Roman form: Baccus (Kids, don't drink. It's not good for you.)
Medusa (Mare, dark bay Thoroughbred) - named after the gorgon Medusa. She was originally a mortal who fell in love with Poseidon, but was cursed by Athena for desecrating her (Athena) temple.
Apollo (Stallion, palomino thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of the sun. by Zeus, out of Leto. [Immortal] Apollo took over the job from the sun titan, Helios. Brother to Artemis. Roman Form: Apollo
Artemis (Mare, light gray Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek goddess of the moon; by Zeus, out of Leto. [Immortal] Artemis took over the job from the moon titan, Selene. Sister to Apollo, and considered one of the maiden goddesses. Roman Form: Diana
Ares (Stallion, strawberry roan Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of war; by Zeus, out of Hera. [Immortal] Usually the lover of Aphrodite, who spurned her husband Hephaestus to be with Ares. Roman form: Mars.
Hermes (Stallion, bay Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of travelers, thieves, etc. (There are a lot.); by Zeus, out of Maia [Immortal] Also known as the winged messenger of the gods. Roman form: Mercury
Hephaestus (Stallion, dapple gray Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of forges, fire, and smithing; by Zeus out of Hera. [Immortal] Roman form: Vulcan (not to be confused with Spock from Star Trek)
Persephone (Mare, dapple gray Thoroughbred) - named after the minor Greek goddess of Spring, half sister to Arion; by Zeus out of Demeter. Eventually became Queen of the Underworld.
Athena (Mare, cherry bay Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek goddess of wisdom and battle strategy; by Zeus out of Metis. [Immortal] In the mythology, Zeus swallowed Metis so that she could not fulfill the prophecy of his heir take over the throne, but she was already pregnant with Athena, who was eventually born from his head (thanks to Hephaestus). Roman form: Minerva
Arion (Stallion, dark bay Thoroughbred) - named after the immortal and fastest horse in Greek mythology, half brother to Persephone; by Poseidon, out of Demeter
Pegasus (Stallion, bay Thoroughbred) - named after the first Pegasus and the twin brother of Chrysaor in Greek Mythology, half brother to Arion; by Poseidon, out of Medusa.
Cupid (Stallion, dun Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek god of love (at least, according to Western Hemisphere folks.
); by Ares, out of Aphrodite. Also known as Eros, Cupid was considered to be the child of Ares and Aphrodite in the mythology. (Half brother to Tyche; Full brother to Philia and Ludus)
Tyche (Mare, liver chestnut Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek goddess of fortune and fate (pronounced TIE-key); by Hermes out of Aphrodite (half sister of Cupid, Philia, and Ludus). Roman form: Fortuna.
Philia (Mare, bay Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek word Philia which means "deep friendship", one of the seven Greek words for love; by Ares, out of Aphrodite. (Half sister to Tyche; Full sister to Cupid and Ludus)
Melinoe (Mare, mouse gray Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek goddess of ghosts and the bringer of nightmares and madness (Quora answer
here; by Zeus out of Persephone. (Half sister to Athena, Hermes, Hephaestus, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Dionysus, Makaria)
Makaria (Mare, chestnut Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek goddess of blessed death (see the above link in Melinoe for Makaria as well); by Hades, out of Persephone. (Half sister to Melinoe)
Ludus (Mare, black Thoroughbred) - named after the Greek word for playful love; by Ares out of Aphrodite (Full sister to Cupid and Philia, half sister to Tyche).
Erichthonius (Stallion, liver chestnut Thoroughbred) - named after the early king of Athens in Greek mythology (find out more
here); by Hephaestus, out of Athena.
Chrysoar (Stallion, Dark Bay Thoroughbred) - Description to come...eventually. By Poseidon, out of Medusa. Full brother to Pegasus.
Hestia (Mare, Black Thoroughbred) - The "youngest" of the gods, Hestia was actually the oldest, and the first to be swallowed by Kronos. Named after the Greek goddess of the hearth. Roman form: Vesta
