Horse Joke of the Week (25/11/24)
Q: Why did the horse cancel last minute?
A: He got colt feet.
(If you have more ideas for horse jokes, feel free to DM me; I might put yours up here as well
)
About Me:
How long have you been here?
I've been playing Howrse for 13 years (since 2011). This is a fresh game after losing my US account for inactivity.
What horses do you breed?
Mustangs. I do a tiny bit of donkey breeding, but I'm focused only on Mustangs. I breed them specifically for Barrel Racing, and none of my mustangs are inbred - up to a factor of 3. This is extremely difficult without a team, but I manage.
Are you looking for a team?
Not exactly. I'd rather just have a partnership with one - maybe two - other players to occasionally breed Mustangs with just for the purposes of making sure I don't inbreed.
What's for sale?
Anything not in my Barrel Stangs and Retired Oldies farm is for sale. Pasture Stangs will be a much higher price than the Sales tab. I am willing to negotiate on all sales.
Do you offer Reserved Breeding?
I offer public breeding for everyone. Unlike teams, I have no limit on GP. But I do have limited slots. I will only offer 2 breeding slots for my top stallions per day. If you miss it, you'll have to try your luck again later.
If you want a reserved spot, I am willing to give them for either full price (7,500) OR 500 equus and a twin from the breeding.
Do you sell BM items?
Not as much anymore. I am willing to trade, but I do not pay for this game. Everything I have and do is done with hard work and planning. I am extremely unlucky, so whenever an event comes around, I will trade away Golden Fleeces, Horns of Plenty, and Titan Challenges. If you're looking for one, wait for an event that offers it and them DM me. Chances are, I'm already planning what I want to trade it for.
Do you reserve Equestrian Center places?
Yes. I give full benefits and also always employ a Vet for competition bonuses.
Why do you have a Retired tab?
Because I worked hard to make my horses old, and if the only thing I get out of it now is a terrible Divine horse, I'm not interested. I also just love my horses, and I'd rather they stay forever retired than forever dead - benefits be chomped.
Do you accept friend requests?
Always. But if I haven't heard from someone in 30 days - either by DM or by lack of help in an event, I typically remove them.
Why do all your mustangs have special coats?
Because they are special bois, I love them very much, and I think that success in competition is half skill and half confidence. And looking/feeling your best is the source of confidence. When you feel good, you win more.
Do you know anything about horses in real life?
Yes. I started riding 18 years ago and became Western Team President for my university, competing in Western Horsemanship. I don't do anything fancy. Just knowing how to be a good rider, sit a good seat, and let my horse do the shining is good enough for me. And wearing a sparkly shirt is nice too.
