Tova Tova (the horse in the banner) is my pony in real life, she was feral and dangerous when I bought her in 2018. She was neglected and abused both mentally and physically - it got to the point where she didn't get fed for days, had a bed full of muck and quite frankly it's a miracle that she's not had any serious issues because of it. She's a 14.2hh, 9 year old Vanner. Although she still has her occasional moments, she is absolutely perfect now, she's at the point where I trust her to have kids on her riding her bareback! It scares me to think about what would have happened to her if I didn't step in, sadly I think she may have just been put down or passed on for the rest of her life. She's got a home with me forever, whether that's just as a companion or riding pony. |
Monty Monty is my newest addition to the horse family! He's a 13.3 Vanner Cross, 2 years old and is still a colt for now. He lost his mum at a young age sadly but he's loving his life out in a field with other colts! The plan for him is to be lightly broken to drive after he turns 3 years old! |
