About Me
So I figured I should write something before I get too busy to.
My name is Misty and I am many things. Most of all I am an animal lover and an artistic and creatively minded person. I love being out in nature - the further from civilization, the better!
I have a beautiful tuxedo cat with green eyes named Kwazzii, who I've had since the day she was born. She is 6 years old and her birthday in in January.
I've been riding horses since I was 5, but sadly couldn't afford lessons regularly so I've been on and off with it.
I own 3 horses. My first horse, a lovely Arabian mare named Delta. She is not for beginners but has such a sweet nature and just loves being around people. She is a rescue and is retired now.
I also own her lovely filly Kaia. She is 6 years old and a real sweetheart too. Her sire was a thoroughbred, making her an Anglo-Arab. She is the most intelligent horse I've ever known, just after her dam.
I have had Kaia from the day she was born and Delta for 7 years.
Then about 6 months ago I bought my third horse, Rocko. He is a Quarter Horse cross Clydesdale, a big chestnut boofhead! He's lovely to people but a bit of a grumpy old man with other horses!
I also have a chicken named Willow, and she lives with two other hens named Millie and Popcorn, who are my little sister's and little brother's chickens, respectively. They just started laying about 2 months ago and it's been so lovely collecting farm fresh eggs from the backyard! (:
I also love painting, specifically watercolours. I'm not very good, but I'm learning and trying to find painting lessons in my area.
I play classical piano, I've recently started learning the Kalimba, and I also play acoustic guitar and the tin whistle. I also sing and maybe one day I'll make a career out of it. (:
I'm learning Spanish and Norwegian at the moment, but I'm very new at Norwegian and have been learning Spanish for several months now.
I collect Golden Apple coats and Retired Coats too (when I can afford it!).
