RULES/PROCESSES FOR BREEDING:

If doing mare breeding, must be able to access reserved sales!

Must have enough equus to pay for foal/stallion breeding.

Divines, Draft Horses and Donkies DO NOT apply to any of the breeding.

Please do not bother me about changing the prices, can't afford them? Then you have to get the equus to do so. (I have a thread in my forum that shows you how to make equus)

If I don't get the foal to you right after I accept the breeding, DO NOT PANIC! I am doing the best I can.

If the foal is not the way you wanted, it is NOT MY FAULT! That is the magical power of Howrse, and the genes of the parents.

Send me a message if you want any of this to happen. No random breeding requests!

If you want a stallion breeding request, I will send a message just to be clear on which stallion. When you say yes, I will send the request and notify you.

For mares, you must message me, and I will reply with a message just to be clear on which mare. You must reply with a yes if it is, I will say send away, and you will send the request. I will accept it, age the horse, and then send the foal for the written prices.

Stallion unicorns apply to the stallion horse rule.

Mare unicorns, must wait till the given time. Please send the stallion request right away, and I will wait till the given time to breed the unicorn mare, age it, and BOOM!

Unicorns will ONLY be bred to unicorns of the SAME breed!


Breeding Stallions will equal equus, obviously...how much? 1000 equus per horse. That is because you are reserving the stallion for a special breeding. If you catch my stallions with an open breeding, well, you're in luck!
It's only 500 equus for that. If you look on my page, open one of the breeding tabs, find the stallion, and look under the skills, you'll be able to see. If the stallion has the breeding sign, this means the stallion has an open breeding!

So in short:

Private Requested Breeding = 1000 equus

Open Breeding = 500 equus

Breeding Mares is an entirely different story. It'll cost 4000 equus. You must put down 500 equus for the stallion, I will pay the 3000 equus it costs for me (the annoying vet fees). Then I will sell you the foal for 4000 equus. There is an increase from the usual breeding because my gain will actually be 1000 equus, and your equus loss will be 3500 equus.

In short:

Breeding: 4000 equus (payment by foal in sales)

My gain: 1000 equus

Your loss: 3500 equus

Breeding Unicorns is a bit different in a few ways.

For the stallions, it's the same, for the mares, it'll cost 2500 equus if it is a uni-fail. If it is a unicorn, it'll cost 4500 equus.
If you want more of a chance, you can request one more mare to be bred at the same time as the first. This will be 300 equus less for that foal. I will sell you the uni-fails unless you don't want it. Technically, we both lose if the foal is not a unicorn. We both win if it is.

Uni Fail: 2500 equus

Two Uni Fails: 4700 equus in all

Uni Foal: 4500 equus

Two Uni Foals: 8700 equus in all

ONE Uni Foal and ONE Uni Fail: 6700 equus in all.

Please be aware you are risking a total of 8700 equus! I also expect that you buy all uni fails before you purchase the unicorn. So if one of the mares gives a uni and the other a uni fail I will sell you the uni fail first!
