I loved the bird-themed Wandering Horses and now the Bird Pinatas!
I am an avid birder (serious bird-watcher), and loved figuring out which birds inspired them.
In the wild here in the US, I have seen Golden Eagle, many species of hummingbirds, Northern Cardinal, Magnificent Frigatebird, Crested Caracara, and even some feral Indian Peafowl.
On a trip to Costa Rica, I saw Keel-billed Toucan, and Blue-crowned Motmot, among ~140 species total.
My world bird life list, currently is around 500-600 species.
It sounds like a lot, but with ~800 in North America north of Mexico,
and 10,000+ birds in the world, there's still so many to see!
