As my Avatar shows, I like house rabbits.  I have four right now.

I am part of the House Rabbit Society(bunny.org)  in the US and a member of the Rabbit Advocates (adoptabunny.org) - we rescue abandonded bunnies, have them spayed/neutered, foster them in our homes, and find them their "forever" homes.

House rabbits are just as fun as cats - running around & playing with toys.  And easily litter box trained.

Rabbits/bunnies ARE NOT good pets for small children--they do NOT like to be picked up (they are prey animals).  This might cause them to bite or scratch; then the children and/or their parents "throw" the bunny away because "it is mean".

Rabbits are not Easter pets, but rather, they are year round pets.
