Very casual f2p experience raising purebreds of select breeds and attempting to collect trophies, coats and divines.
I play in a style I call 'Bloodlines' where I BLUP and breed only one mare of each breed at a time then select her best filly to continue the line.

I don't care for rankings, and don't always return congratulations.

Activity is sporadic; I have played howrse since late 2008, though often take long hiatuses due to how boring it is. Daily care is a dull unrewarding series of clicks, events are repetitive and forums are archaic in UI; despite this, I'm sentimental toward my horses and always return to them.
I am always open to negotiations regarding horse sales but please bear in mind that I will not sell for equus nor will I continue to negotiate if you ask my lowest price or lowball me.

My horses are grouped as followed:
Haven - old/sentimental horses I don't want to age, as well as ununtilised divines.
Wildwood - in-use divines, special coats and comp horses.
Bloodlines - my current-gen bloodline mares.
Dreamers - fodder: fillers, croesus hopefuls and yggdrasil fertiliser.

Hylo! I'm May, a certified Horticulturalist from Wales with a passion for canine behaviour! I have a plethora of dumb dumb goblin brain issues and trouble communicating sometimes because of this, so please keep that in mind if you message me - I'll always try my best to respond properly and in a timely manner.

Ironically, I'm pretty nervous around horses due to their considerable size combined with skittish prey behaviour Okso howrse is my way of getting close to horses without being too close to horses.
I am the exhausted mum of two cats and one dog: the sweetest old tabby: Memao (11y); my little menace and big vocal ball of tuxedo fluff: Lucifurr (2y); and my fur-brained mutt and absolute love. of. my. life: Chicken (14y).

I'm an avid writer of silly little things, an amateur artist, and I may just play video games a little too much...
You can probably tell that I'm a fan of Genshin Impact, though I'm not very good at it, and other games I enjoy include (but are not limited to): Zelda, Warframe, The Witcher (trilogy), Skyrim, Enderal, Planet Zoo and Eurotruck Sim 2.
If you have any game suggestions that fall within those or similar genres, I'm all ears! and I'm always looking for other introverted people to co-op with so we can get things done and quietly vibe with as little conversation as possible.
I'm also fairly active on other sites under the same username. Chances are if you know a 'maocifer' from somewhere, it is I.

My lifelong dream is to run away to the Noweigan wilderness with a pack of spitz dogs, a herd of ancient sheep breeds, and become a self-sustaining hermit who only speaks in tongues... a girl can dream.

Howrse Fun facts / hot takes no one asked for:
- I really miss the old riding level tests that used to determine your account level. They were tedious and annoying but I loved them.
- Reminiscing about old art - I miss a lot of the previous horse art. All foals, Vanners, Curlies and Fresians were especially gorgeous. The new art is dull and has less charm, and oftentimes you can even see pixelation and white borders around areas like manes. It's not a look. I've had to completely give up certain breeds because of the change. The Vintage Apple is an absolute blessing. The previous look of equus and passes was also better. Now they look low-poly and like something out of fortnite. Ew.
- Used a TC for the first time in Feb '22 after playing for around 14 years and not touching luck items previously. Ended up winning 5 more for a total of around 9 plays and still didn't get to level 6 because I'm a wuss :')
