About Me Hello! My name is Jen. I am 20 years old and have been playing Howrse since it was fairly new when I was about 8ish? So yes it's been a while. I've had accounts before this one but they were deleted as I have gone through periods of not being on here. This account I have managed to keep for a few years now and currently am pretty active. I live in the beautiful southern state of Louisiana in the United States. I don't exactly have a plan for my life yet. I'm kinda just taking baby steps. I did college for a while but could not decide what to major in so I'm on a break. Right now, I work for an Occupational Therapist who does Hippotherapy. My job is to train the therapy horses in Liberty training to make sure they are well mannered and responsive to tasks for the disabled children riding them for therapy. I'd like to own a bit of land in the future because I enjoy the outdoors and plenty of space and would love to live on a farm with many animals. I currently do not own a horse but I am working on it. The horses I work with are three quarter horses for the therapy program, Roxy who is a 20+-year-old chestnut mare, Sunday, a dark palomino mare, and Harley, a chestnut mare. Outside of the therapy program, I work with four other horses, Jules, a palomino AQHA mare, Scout, a paint, Bellamy, a bay OTTB, and my baby, Chap, a 4-year-old chestnut QH who is the smartest horse in the barn. He's been labeled as mean with a bad attitude but I have yet to have a bad experience with him. In my opinion, he's misunderstood. I've ridden since I was very young, and have always had a love for horses. I rode English for a number of years and competed in show jumping and almost started dressage until an accident injured my back and forced me to take a break. After I recovered and was ready to ride again, I began to ride western at a small farm in the country. The owner of the farm trained horses to do many things and he even worked with horses specialized in English but his main focus was reining. I was very nervous starting back up again but the owner, Steve, put me on a bombproof horse. He was a beautiful paint named Joker. The perfect horse to help me get back to the level I used to be on. I rode Joker for a while until Steve decided I was ready to take it up a notch. He gave me a horse to ride named Sassy. She was a gorgeous bay quarter horse that I grew to love. The only problem was that she was incredibly green. We didn't get along well at all when I first started working with her but after sneaking her some yummy treats (Shhhh |
My Game Currently, I am breeding PSH's, Drums, Thoroughbreds, IH unis, Quarter horses, and Mustangs. ALL male horses can be reserved for coverings at a negotiable price depending on the skill level. Normally my prices are not very high so probably anywhere from 500e-1000e. Draft horse coverings will obviously be a little higher since they are in a high demand. But I am willing to negotiate those as well. Bandorelo will not be for sale so do not ask. All other horses may be listed for sale at the right price. I focus my game mainly on genetic potential. Message me if you have any questions or concerns. I am on the American version as Jen72497 so you can add me there as well. I DO NOT buy passes. There is just no way I can pay bills and afford passes for a virtual game, as badly as I may want to. All the bonuses on my horses are because I bought them with my game money or things that I won during contests. I tend to not use my BM items that much simply because I always feel like I could use them on better horses than what I have now. If I ever breed a top of the line horse, that is when my BM items will be used. At some point, I will be selling my unis as I breed more. Prices are negotiable based on GP. Males will be sold for less than females. My Equestrian Center is completely booked! Thank you, everyone,, who has a horse boarded there. I greatly appreciate the support. If you want a box reserved please feel free to let me know. The specialty is western and I offer 3* tack, mash, fodder, carrots, etc. Go check it out! |
